I was dark outside. The weather was right around freezing. The street lamps had just turned on right about the time we walked outtside onto her porch. You had to leave after a long day of fun at our friend, Raquel's, house, and we were saying our final goodbyes. Your arms were wrapped around my upper arms, as were mine to yours. We were pulled together in an awkward hug, that just felt so comfortable. I pull up to look into your eyes. "What is that?!" we suddenly hear Raquel yell. We turn to her, gazing down the street. "Oh, it was just a car.." she says sadly. We laugh, not releasing each other from our hug. I look back at you and stare into your eyes once more, but soon get distracted by Raquel once again. "Wheres my doorbell?! How am i suppose to get inside?!" We again laugh when she finds it and rings it with a large smile. I look back at you. We inch closer together, still in our awkward position. We were leaning over, our noses touching- the only interference from the meeting of our lips. I look at your eyes, which were locked on my lips. I know what your thinking. Then the door opens, and Raquels sister walks outside. "Why did you ring the doorbell?" she then looks at us, whos heads were turned her way. She smiles, "Oh no, i have ruined a moment," then walks back into the house. Raquel just laughs at us. "Will you please shut up for a second?" you yell at her. "Yeah, pretend your with your Kitty," i say, referring to her boyfriend shes head over heels for. She smiles happily. "I think im going to queef!" she says to the thought of him. Now you and i let go, for we were laughing so hard, but soon bounce right back to our hug. We stare into each others eyes. We lean back on to each others noses, but slide right past and go straight for each others lips. My heart skips a beat at the feeling of you, your lips against mine. We lean back and i smile at you. You say goodbye to Raquel and turn around to leave into the black night,
