Sadie Artony

Intro

"Sadie time to wake up!"
Katherine calls opening her daughters bedroom door. Sadie was face down into her pillow but as soon as her mother turned the lights on her face brightened up and she jumped out of bed.
"I need to be ready!" Sadie shouts running to her bedroom door. Her mother watches her rush to the kitchen and scoff down her bacon and eggs. And Katherine's hazel eyes start to get watery  watching her 4 year old get ready for her first day of school. It would be the first time the Sadie would be away for the whole day without being with a family member.
"Katie."
Michael says putting his hand on his wife's shoulder.
"Will she be able to handle it there with all the new kids? They might bully her, or worse. They might hurt her."
Katherine whispers to her husband.
"She'll be fi-"
"Mummy I'll be okay. Plus if there are bully's I will kick them and shout hiya!"
Sadie yells cutting off her father and swinging her arms in a slicing motion making her mother laugh but stop in the middle and look at Sadie's father.
"Hey, you said it yourself, there might be bully's."
He shrugs then going to sit at the table.
The family sits down at the table eating their breakfast.
