"Don't you remember her? She was like a sister to us. Come on, Lacey. You have-" I cut Nevada off.

"My name's not Lacey anymore. It's Bermuda. You should know that by now." I snap. "And I don't want to remember her." I snap.

"Sorry. I was just...never mind. Forget I even knew you." Nevada chokes out.

"Nev. I'm sorry. I-"

"Don't even waste your breath."

"God dammit, Nevada. Why are you so bitchy today?"

 "It's not me, it's you." Neva replies and walks out of the room. "And you know what? I never told you but, Lana died yesterday."

"She what?"

"Yeah. And now you care."

"I cared about her! She was like a mother to me! But the thing is, I don't want to remember. I can't. Because remembering the past can get you killed." I sigh. "We learned that the hard way..."
