"Anne, I don't understand... Why did Sophie say those things? What is happening to my sweet Sophie?" her husband asked.

Anne didn't know what to answer: "I will try to calm her." She looked down and then went into her room to pick up her things and go away forever.

While Anne was walking, she noticed something strange; to have access to her rooms it was necessary to go through the library of the villa.

"What is here?" the nanny said "there is something... a dress maybe... or a rag."

She pulled until she found her mistress' stockings. They were blood-stained.

"Oh my God! Sophie... Luis... It cannot be", suddenly Sophie arrived.

"What are you doing here? I ordered..."

-"Madam. I was going away, don't worry. I only want to know something... These" – she showed the stockings and, looking down, said - "now I can understand your behaviors".

Sophie answered in a very calm way "Behaviors? Which behaviors? I feel well".

She took the stockings from her nanny's hands and wrapped them around her neck pulling tightly letting the woman fall to the floor.

"Now you've had what you deserved. She bent over the nanny's lifeless body.

"You will not take my child, and now you cannot reveal anything. Oh nanny you made a wrong move. You should have been more careful. You understand that, don't you?"

"And now what am I going to do with your body, nanny? I will leave it here in a room of the villa where nobody ever passes. That's why I hid the stockings here. The new library on the lower floor has more interesting books than these."

It seemed that Sophie continuously whispered words to her. Then she decided: it was a good idea to hide Anne's body behind some shelves that only Sophie knew about.

A strange giggle resounded in that blood-spotted atmosphere. Then she went towards her room.

"Sophie open the door. Sophie!" Neville knocked heavily on the door and, without having received an answer, he grabbed the handle and turned it.

"What did you do?" He asked worried.

"Neville, I'm having a rest and you frightened me. What is happening?" Asked Sophie.

"Your behavior does not have any sense. Why did you dismiss Anne? The woman who has always been by your side and now with our child arriving, she could have taken care of him? And now, please Sophie, explain what the story of Luis is about?"

Neville was very irritated, angry and confused.

"But Neville, my dear, be calm. The nanny didn't say true things and I believe that what I have done is comprehensible. Sometimes a pregnant woman can have outbursts of anger.
But if you want me to apologize to her I will, as I have always done; and if there is need to rehire her we will do it.

She answered embracing him, however in that moment Neville pushed her away.

"You didn't answer my last question Sophie."

"Perhaps it seems strange, but I know that inside of me there is a child who will grow as strong as his father". She took her beloved husband's hand and put it on her belly.

"Can you feel our child? Forgive me Neville."

It seemed that the young woman was about to cry.

"I'm sorry for having raised my voice, Sophie. Now I understand your reaction. I am sure that you will apologize to Anne."

"Certainly dear." She answered.
