Chapter 6
Zack’s P.O.V.
Matt and my lovely mate walked out of the kitchen and turned towards me.
“Why are you here Zack?” Matt growled lowly.
“I needed to apologize to Mickie and Tristen.”
“Ok, so apologize.”
“I already apologized to Mickie. Can I apologize to Tristen now?”
“Not right now, we just got him into a good mood. Maybe in the morning.”
“Ok, am I allowed to stay here tonight?” I hated being this nice but the look on Mickie’s face made it worth it.
“As long as you don’t cause any trouble. Mickie can show you where the guest room is and she can get you some clothes.”
“Thanks and I have clothes already, I keep some in my car.”
“Ok,” Matt said and walked back into the kitchen at the same time we walked up the stairs. I followed her up the stairs. We walked past her room and stopped at the very end of the hallway at a closed door.
“This is your room tonight,” she said with a smile. I walked in and she followed me. It was just like my room, blank walls, a bed, a desk, a dresser, and a bathroom.
“Thanks,” I said as I sat down on the bed.
“You’re welcome. Make yourself at home, I’m gonna go get some stuff after I clean you up.”
“Oh, really.”
She blushed and walked into the bathroom. I stayed out but then she stuck her head out the door and motioned for me to follow her. She had wet down a washrag and pulled me in the bathroom as soon as I was in the doorway. She shut the door behind me.
“Sit down on the edge of the tub,” she directed me. I complied and she straddled my knees before sitting down so she could face me. “Take off your shirt if it’s covering any cuts.” I smirked but shrugged out of my shirt because that’s where most of the cuts were. She rubbed the rag over my forehead and then cleaned up my hand. Then she moved to cleaning the scrapes and cuts on my chest and arms. She finished but I didn’t let her move. “Something wrong?” she asked.
“That’s not all the cuts.”
She rolled her eyes, “Where at?”
“Under my shorts,” I smirked at her. I wasn’t lying, there were cuts on my legs.
She threw the rag at my face and stood up, “You can take a shower and wash the blood away from there by yourself.” I laughed and she left, closing the door behind her. I heard her looking around in a closet somewhere for something. I decided to take her advice so I peeled off all my muddy clothes and took a shower. The shower washed away the rest of the blood but stung the cuts. I finished and realized that I didn’t have any clean clothes. I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked out of the bathroom. Mickie was leaning over the bed, putting clean sheets on. She heard me come in but didn’t look up.
“Hey, I brought you some stuff to sleep in,” she said and I noticed a pile of clothes at her feet. She finished the bed and then looked up at me. She looked me over and then blushed.
