Animal Instincts (Kurt x OC)

Chapter 6

[A/N]- sorry this one is a bit shorter guys I will try to make the next one longer -M

"Hey guys", Kurt said shyly. Instead of looking at our faces everyone was dead set on starring at our interlocked tails. Kurt noticed this and tried to pull his away so I tightened my grip.

"Kurt it's not like they weren't going to find out", I whispered in his ear.

"Ya, but you just got here yesterday. It makes it seem like I'm taking advantage of you.", he whispered back.

"You guys are like so cute together!", exclaimed Kitty from across the room. At her words I smiled and leaned into Kurt hoping he would get the hint. He did and readjusted his arm so it was wrapped around my waist, his hand laying firmly on my hip.

"Yes as wonderful as this is guys we all have school in the morning it will be Roses first day.", Scott said while getting up from the couch.

"Scott has a point guys come on, it's getting late.", agreed Jean.

Everyone was off to their rooms. Kurt and I walked a little behind the group since he was too tired to teleport us to the exact spot we needed to be. One by one they went into their rooms leaving Kurt and I at the end of the hall standing in each others arms.

"Kurt this is the part where you let go so I can go to bed.", I said to him after a good minuet of silence.
"He doesn't want to and neither do I"

I was mildly confused at this statement until I realized he was referring to his animal side.
"You promise to call for me if anything bad happens?", Kurt finally said with a sigh.

"Yes elf I promise", I couldn't help but chuckle at his overprotectiveness.

"Okay but you have to kiss me before I let you go" And with that a reached up on my tip toes and kissed Kurt softly.

"Goodnight my mate", I said teasingly. He let out a low growl in return before I scampered backwards and entered my room shutting the door behind me. I got ready for bed not bothering with taking a bath. I didn't want to lose the small sent of Kurt I had lingering on me. I slipped on Kurt's shirt again and laid down.

I once again couldn't keep myself from my reoccurring nightmare. However on this night when the nothingness engulfed me I was given the pleasure of waking up. Screaming as I did so, but still awake.

I wasn't shocked that I woke up half of the mansion with my screams of horror. Kurt was the first one there via teleportation. He looked ready to kill whatever it was that made me shriek.

"Rozalia!! What's wrong?! What happened!?", Kurt exclaimed at a fast pace. Before I could answer everyone had found their way into my room.

"Calm down Kurt", I said in a soothing tone placing my hand on his shoulder. He had taken a defensive position, showing his fangs and growling in front of me when the others came in.

"I'm fine guys it was just a bad dream. Please go back to bed. I'm sorry for waking you", I looked down and waited for them to leave.

"It's not your fault Rose.", said Scott,"we understand". With that everyone left, but Kurt of course. He finally rose from his position in front of me once the door was closed.

"Kurt I don't want to talk about it", I said quickly as he opened his mouth to undoubtedly bombard me with questions.

"Okay", was the simple response I was given. I knew he wouldn't leave me alone tonight, so it wasn't a surprise when he climbed into bed next to me.

"I will protect you mate", Kurt whispered with his head barried in the crook of my neck.

"I know". With that we both drifted off to sleep. The rest of that night, for the first time I can remember, I had a pleasant dream.
