Your name is (Y/n), and you just recently graduated from the Detective's Academy and you were currently being assigned to experienced detectives to work under as their apprentice. You were daydreaming, wondering about -your favorite topic- the Sphinx incident when you were were then snapped out of your daydreaming. Literally. You shook your head still a bit in a daze and smiled slightly. Once you looked up at who distracted you, "Hey, you're (L/n) (F/n), correct?" You nodded quickly all the while anxious. The man smiled kindly, "Good, this means I'll be teaching you then." You smiled again, yet this time, you studied his facial features very closely, then you got extremely excited. "Th-this is amazing! I'll b-be working with the Kenjirou Shibazaki!" You bowed almost instantaneously. You heard him chuckle, a bit amused at how you just realize that it was him. He petted your (h/l) (h/c) hair as a signal for you to follow his lead.
As you both were walking down a long hallway, it became more scarce of people as you went further down. Feeling a bit uneasy about this, you walked faster behind your new instructor getting closer to his back. He suddenly stopped and you didn't notice. "Ah, I'm sorry!" You bowed again feeling stupid. "It's alright, no need to apologize," he opened his office door, "So this is my work space, make yourself comfortable." You nodded as your eyes tries their best at adjusting to the dark room. You noticed a man at his desk eating ramen. He looked up at you and smiled. "Hello, I'm Mukasa, I'm assuming that you're the new apprentice?" You smiled nodding and already liking his personality. "I'm very grateful for this opportunity, I'll make sure to do whatever I can do to help." Shibazaki laughed a bit from behind his monitor. Your (e/c) eyes dart towards the source, and eyed him. "What's so funny?" You had a hint of threat in your tone. He held up his open hand shaking it side to side. "No, it's just that I feel you'd be better than the last guy I had to work with, what was his name again...?" He trailed off as Mukasa reminded him. "His name was Hamura." Shibazaki snapped his fingers. "That's the guy, he constantly got in the way and I'm pretty sure that he wanted something from me." Your eyes widened a bit having a slight idea of what the guy possibly wanted.

The time passed rather slow since there aren't any cases that Shibazaki was involved in at the moment. You were sitting on the rather comfortable couch when you unintentionally fell asleep.
~Time Skip~
You woke up in your bed in your pajamas. You were suddenly too embarrassed to face him. You automatically assume that it was him because you lived alone. You got out of bed and walked to your kitchen for a late night snack. As you were walking back to your room, you heard a faint snoring. You looked in your living room to find Shibazaki sleeping soundly. At first you were scared and uncomfortable, then you felt safe and secured. You then realize that, you've always felt safe since you first met him. You sigh smiling. You went into a chest, pulling out the softest and warmest blanket that you had put away. You placed his legs on to the couch, then as for the blanket, you fanned it open and placed it on him. Before you fled to your room, you left some cookies out for him. You quickly ran to your room and came back with a pillow. You placed it gently beneath his head. You smiled and walked back quietly and falling back to sleep yourself.
