After a long day of school, I went home.

I came to see... Nick standing infront of my door.

"What are you doing here?!?" I asked him.

"Oh, there you are. I rung the bell and no one answered. I was about to call." He told me.

"How did you get my number?" I asked him.

"Uh, the school contact book." He said as though very obvious.

"So, why are you here?" I asked him again.

"I wanted you.... to be my dance partner for the winter dance." He told me, cheeks reddening.

I blushed.

What?

Why me???

"What?" I asked him. I don't understand.

"You know, the prom that's coming up." He told me. "I want to be your partner."

"Uhhh... ummm.... Sure!" I accepted.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA PHHHHHHHFFFFFFTTTTT YOU FELL FOR IT!!" He laughed and shouted.

"What?!? I'm confused." I told him.

"IT'S APRIL, DUMMY. NOT WINTER." He told me and laughed again.

"UGH, DAMN YOU. I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN." I shouted.

"Sorry." He said, wiping tears of laughter away. "I didn't mean it. I just wanted to know how you felt about me. Because.... I... Nevermind."

"...." I was startled.

"Just... forget everything I said." He told me, then walked away.
