-Ashton-

My best friend Luke and I have been watching Movies in my room all day. "Damn he's hot" I said quietly and Luke laughed. "He is" I give him a surprised look, he's never said that about another guy around me before "What did you say?" I ask with a smirk, causing Luke to blush. "W-well, he-he is attractive" I grin to myself before asking more questions "I thought you were straight?" Luke awkwardly shifts in his seat before answering "I'm not sure if I am, but this is hard to open up about Ashton" I get up from my spot and sit next to the blonde haired boy. "I promise that no matter what, of course, I accept you" He smiles softly "Thank you Ashton" I stare at him with a fond smile. Audrey is so lucky. Luke is the sweetest guy I have ever met in my life. Just in time to interrupt, Luke's phone started ringing loudly "It's Audrey" Luke says while rolling his eyes. "Hey babe!" I could hear yelling coming from the other end but I couldn't understand what was being said. "I'm with Ashton-" Luke's face turned into an angry expression "No, I was friends with Ashton before I even met you, I won't ditch him because you say so, I won't be treated like that-" I frowned at him, but he ignored me. "Audrey stop, I'll talk to you later" Luke said before hanging up the phone. "Are you alright?" I ask quietly "Yes" Luke says in a cold tone "I'm sorry Luke, you don't have to talk to me anymore if you don't-" "Ashton, I like talking to you, you're my best friend and just because Audrey tells me to ditch you doesn't mean that I'm going to" I frown "Why do you stay with someone who wants to change you and be in control-" "I've been with Audrey for over a year, Ashton, I can't just break things off" He says with a guilty expression. I stare at him for a minute before giving him a surprised look "You don't even love her" Luke looks down without even saying anything, and that's when I knew that I was right. Luke doesn't love Audrey.

I hate seeing Luke with her. Watching them make-out in the school's hallway is disgusting. Luke pretending to be happy when he's with her, it's not right. Just in time to interrupt my thoughts, Luke and Audrey stop in front of me. Luke is wearing a smile, and Audrey is wearing an annoyed expression. "Hey Ash" I smile brightly to Luke "Hey Luke" "Audrey and I are going to a party, and we wanted you to come with us" I grin widely to show off my dimples "Hell yeah!" Luke grins back "Alright then, you can ride back to my house with me after school-" "Luke" Audrey says with a glare "You know what, I'll just meet you at the party" I say with a frown, hoping that Luke tells her off, and he does. "No, you are coming over. Audrey we'll pick you up-" "No, I'm not going" Audrey says, throwing a fit like the spoiled brat that she is. "Don't be like that Audrey-" "No Luke, I'm not going with you and your friends!" Audrey says before storming off. "I'm sorry, she'll get over it-" "Why are you even with her, you're both so different, it's ridiculous" I say with a stern look "I know she can be a handful, but I-" I glare at him before he even finishes his sentence because we both know that it's a lie, Luke nods before saying anything "Yeah, you're right." I wish he would realize that she's awful for him, he should leave her already.

"So why are we still going to the party if Audrey isn't going?" I ask while Luke and I lay on his bed "I just want to get drunk and have fun, Audrey is stressing me out lately" I laugh lightly, causing Luke to smile "It's true, my perfect relationship isn't so perfect" I frown at the blonde boy "Then why do you stay if you don't like being with her?" He scoffs "Do you know what would happen if I threatened to leave her?" I glare at him "Well you're not happy, you should leave if you're not happy" Luke and I held eye contact for what felt like hours, until it felt awkward, so I looked away. "Ashton I-" "Luke! Audrey is here!" I am really starting to hate this girl, Luke sighed before getting up from his bed "What were you going to say?" I ask, feeling like it was important but Luke shook his head "I'll tell you later" I nod quickly "Okay." Audrey pushed the door open, attitude and all, causing me to roll my eyes. "I thought you were going home?" Luke asks in a soft voice "I never said that I was going home, now did I?" Luke rolls his eyes after Audrey turned to me, why is she looking at me? "Why are you shirtless, in my boyfriends bed?" She asks with a glare, I look down at my bare chest before turning my attention back on her. "I spilled something on my shirt, it's in the wash-" "Why are you in my boyfriends bed?" I smirk before speaking "He was my best friend before he was your boyfriend-" Audrey turned to Luke with a glare "Now I'm going home." Luke walked Audrey outside, probably trying to change her mind about going with us to the party. "I'm sorry about Audrey, she shouldn't have gotten in your face like that" I shake my head "You don't need to apologize. We should leave for the party, now I need a drink" Luke laughs "Alright, you can barrow one of my shirts" I grin to myself "Okay, thanks" "No problem."
