"Well can you hurry up? If you wasn't up with August ugly ass then we could've been there by now. Well you could've been here by now" she said.
Cherish is my bestfriend since ninth grade. It's crazy how we became bestfriends. When we was In highschool her dad and step-mom treated her like she wasn't nothing. Remember how Cinderella was treated by her step-mom? That's her. I hate them so much. I know hate is a strong word but it's a strong word for them. I love my bestfriend so much and I'll do anything for her and vice versa. We both lived in Atlanta but born and raised in Brooklyn.
"It wasn't my fault he came in drunk and smelled bad. I had to help in shower, cook him something to eat and made sure his clothes was in the washer"
"Wife duties I completely understand" she giggled.
"No. Me and Aug are just bestfriends Cherish"
"Riiiiight. Aaaaaanywaaaays can you come on?" She asked again.
"I'm pulling up in the parking lot now"
"Finally. Next time you on wife duty for August just let me know" she laughed.
I hung up on her.
We were having a girls day you know nails, hair, clothes, shoes and food. We barely get to do anything because we both either in school or working. Georgia state and Atlanta technical college is about an hour up to two hours away. I go to Atlanta technical college and she goes to Georgia state but she's thinking about leaving that school just cause the people is "too quiet". Yes I know she's crazy, but hey that's her decision.
I existed my car and locked the doors and made my way into the nail shop.
"Hi welcome to 24/7 what are you getting today?" The man doing nails asked me.
"Full set"
"Ok give us ten minutes and we'll be right with you" he said and i nodded.
I looked around for a seat I saw Cherish sitting bouncing her legs she only does that because she's very impatient. She looked over at me and smiled.
"Hey boo"
"Hey baby. I missed you so much" she stood pouted.
"Stop pouting cuz I'm here now and I missed you too" I gave her a hug and we walked over to the variety of nail polish.
"Ok what color you getting?"
"Um I was getting nude coffin nails. What bout you?" She asked.
"Um I was thinking burgundy"
"Ow that'll be cute. Maybe I should get blue and get gold designs on mines" she smiled.
"Yes that'll be cute ass fuck"
She looked at her hand and frowned. "Nah I'll stick to nude" we both laughed.
"You two can come sit in the chairs" the man told us.
One thing I hate about the Chinese people that do nails, is that they talk about us. I don't know what they be saying but I know they talk about us. There's nothing wrong with my nails or feet, but they might still say something.
"What are you getting today?" The man asked me.
"Um. I want coffin nails"
He nodded his head and began doing my nails. I looked to my left and saw the lady getting started on Cherish nails.

** After a long day with my bestfriend we decided that we wanted to go to the club, so I called August and told him and he said he's going to bring his bestfriend Jordan.
Jordan was tall, had a light milk chocolate skin complexion, cute and very sweet. He never really had a serious relationship because the girls he chose was just.. just nasty hoes. I'm sorry but they was, they always wanted to wear clothes that showed off everything and when Jordan say something about it they blow up and leave and he let them.
I pulled up to August's house and got out. I grabbed all my bags and made sure I locked my car doors before I walked away. I walked up to the porch and searched for the key but the door opened revealing a sexy ass August with no shirt on.
"Hey"
"Wuzzam"
He grabbed my bags and he let me in first then closed the door. I walked to the couch and sighed loud. I heard him chuckle and but the bags down. I closed my eyes and then I felt him kiss my forehead. I smiled and stood up. I walked over to him and hugged him.
"I missed you"
"Stop poutin and I missed ya too pooh" he leaned in to kiss me but I turned my head.
"Um we need to start getting ready" I patted his chest.
"Why you keep dodgin my kisses?"
I shrugged.
"Ight"
We walked up stairs and I went to take my shower. I grabbed my soap and towel and walked I to the bathroom. I put my hair up into a high ponytail and walked over to the shower. I turned it on and adjusted it to my liking and took of my clothes.
As I was washing my body I heard the bathroom door open then close. I didn't look out the shower to see of it was August because he always comes in and wait until I'm done showering to come in but this time the shower door opened and he stepped in. I turned around.
"August what are you.." his lips crashed into mines and I didn't hesitate to kiss him back. I don't know why he kissed me but I'm glad he did.
I wrapped my arms around his waist while his hands was on my neck holdikg my face to his. He pulled away.
"I luh you"
"I- I love you too pooh" I said leaning in to kiss him again. His lips connected with mines and they felt so right on mines.
