"Who the hell is that and where can I get one?" My best friend Granger Owens stated.
My other best friend Davis Campbell simply stood, wide-eyed and practically drooling. So I turned to see what all of the fuss was about and almost choked. Holly was walking down the hall looking like she'd just stepped out of a fashion magazine.
I shook my head, "That's Holly. She's a city girl and has a boyfriend, so don't get any ideas. She's Hal and Hessie's granddaughter."
When I'd accidentally overheard Holly's phone conversation yesterday, I'd been flattered by the way she was describing me, but I also heard her talking about some guy named Kyle. I should have known a girl like Holly would have a boyfriend. I'd been dumb to try anything with her and had realized that when I'd taken notice of her fancy clothes. She wasn't a girl who could ever be content on a farm and I was a farm boy, so what was the point. I knew some guys wouldn't care and would still want to play with her for the duration of her stay, but I wasn't like that.
Davis looked at me sharply, "You like her. When was the last time you've taken notice in any girl who didn't have udders."
Granger answered for me, "Last year he went out with Wendy Rawlings a couple times, made the mistake of fucking her, and now Wendy has been obsessed with him ever since."
I nodded sadly, "Which is why I haven't so much as looked at another girl since. I learned my lesson. I can't handle more than one crazy girl stalking me. I hadn't even planned on going there with Wendy, but she stripped naked and had my dick out before I even knew what was happening."
Granger shook his head and said sarcastically, "Oh the problems you have. You poor sap. If only we were all born with good looks and pretty boy charm."
"Shut up, Dude. You've had more than your fair share of dates." I shoved Granger. He was shorter than me by several inches, making quite a few girls taller than him, which I knew had always bothered him. He wasn't a bad looking guy though, with baby blue eyes, thick blond hair, and a grin that he'd used to tease more than a couple girls out of their panties.
Davis on the other hand was taller than me by several inches and gangly. He hadn't had as much luck with the ladies, but mostly it was probably because he was too shy to ask anybody out. Davis seemed to clam up any time a pretty girl was present.
Speaking of pretty girl, I couldn't just let Holly walk by without speaking to her, could I? Before I could debate further I blurted, "Hey Stormy..."
She paused and turned on her designer heels and eyed me closely, before moving her eyes to Granger who winked at her and then Davis, who ducked his head and looked at his feet. Finally her eyes came back to me and there was judgment there that told me she found my friends and I lacking. I instantly grew angry, but it was strange because instead of giving her a stern lecture for being a snob, I just wanted to kiss her to prove her wrong. I clenched my fists, forcing myself not to move.
I figured she would turn up her nose and keep walking, but instead she surprised me by saying, "Hey Jake..." Then she kept walking and I couldn't tear my eyes away from her jean covered ass. Those things looked painted on and I could see every male eye in the hallway appreciated her beautiful artwork.
"Hey Jake..." Granger taunted in a girlie tone, laughing, "She wants you, man."
I snorted, "Oh please, did you not see the look of disgust she hadn't bothered to keep hidden."
Granger nodded, "I didn't say that she wanted to want you, but she does want you."
I rolled my eyes just as the warning bell rang, signaling that we should get to class. I ended up having a couple classes with Holly, but other than a few sneaky side glances she mostly ignored me. It was the same thing at the farm. All week, she kept to herself, quietly doing her chores. Then the weekend came and Sunday morning, she approached me while the rest of her family was at church.
