12—Jake P.O.V.
What, or should I say who, the hell is that and what does she think she's doing? I've been wondering who could be here visiting Holly. Was this the visitor and if so why was she strutting into the barn? This girl definitely screamed city.
"Hi there! I'm a friend of Holly's. Just visiting. I was just wondering if you knew a guy who could show a girl like me a good time." She asked in a sultry voice, giving her boobs a quick shake, her intentions very clear. This chick was something else. I knew she was trying to appear sexy, but she was just coming across as desperate. She reminded me of Wendy. So even if I wasn't in a relationship with Holly, I'd never have taken her up on her blatant offer.
I shook my head, "Sorry, don't know a guy."
She frowned, clearly not used to being turned down, and sauntered closer. She ran her finger down my chest, "That's too bad. I know things that...oops."
She stumbled forward and on instinct I reached out to catch her. At that exact moment Holly came marching in and her nickname was definitely fitting in that moment. A storm was brewing on Holly's face. I instantly dropped my hands, but what's her name kept her hand on my arm.
Holly kept coming toward us. She gave her "friend" a big fake smile, as she said, "I'll show you how we handle home wreckers here in the sticks." Then she pulled her arm back and let her fist fly. It connected with the slutty chick's nose and I heard a distinctive crack.
"Oh my God, Holly, you broke my nose!" The girl shrieked.
"I'll break more than that, you slut!" Holly said and tackled her "friend" to the barn floor. Dirt flew as the two girls rolled around exchanging slaps and pulling hair.
"Aren't you going to stop this?" Hessie demanded, with Holly's mom standing nearby, a look of fascination on her face as she watched her daughter fighting.
I frowned, "I'm still trying to figure out what's happening!"
"Your girl is kicking some ass! That's what's happening!" Hal said, chuckling as he entered the barn. He was a worn out, old man, who hadn't entered that barn in months. Yet Hal had come out to see his granddaughter fight.
I shook my head and reached into the tangle of girl, pulling Holly up and out. She struggled against me, so I told her, "I didn't do anything with her. She came onto me."
Holly froze, looking at me over her shoulder as she said, "I know that. Why do you think I'm trying to kill her and not you?"
I grinned at her, "You have dirt on your nose and you look so sexy right now."
Holly sagged against me, the fight leaving her, as I'd hoped it would. Hessie helped Holly's "friend" to her feet and told her, "I think it would be best if you went back to wherever you came from." Then Hessie escorted her out of the barn.
Holly's mom threw up her hands, "Will someone tell me what the hell is going on around here?"
Hal chuckled, "Jake and Holly have been skirting around each other since you got here. They finally gave into temptation and have apparently been sneaking around, feeling each other up in the barn when nobody is around. Then that hussy from the city shows up and tries to come onto Jake. Holly didn't like that, which resulted in the fight you just witnessed. I've never been a prouder grandpa."
I chuckled. I couldn't help it. Hal was always so quiet. Half the time you wouldn't even know he was in the room and yet he had picked up on everything remarkable fast. The old guy still had it.
Holly's mom blinked, before she yelled, "What do you mean they gave into temptation? They've been feeling each other up? Young lady, you best get your butt to your room. We have some talking to do."
I winced, but Holly just kissed my cheek and left the barn. A minute later Hessie returned, "I put that horrible girl in Earl's truck and sent her to town. Earl just happened to be driving by and offered to take her to the bus station. Good riddance. Now what's this I hear about you sending Holly to her room? You do realize that you used to do this same stuff when you were Holly's age, right? The only difference is, we actually like Jake."
Holly's mom rolled her eyes, "Stat out of this mama and let me raise my own daughter."
Hessie held up her hands, "Well, get to it then." She watched her daughter storm out of the barn and shook her head, but she was smiling, until she faced me again. Then she sighed, "Look, son, we're not mad that you and Holly are dating. Hell, I'm pleased as punch! What I'm mad about is the sneaking around and I really don't care to walk in on my granddaughter getting groped. You both may be eighteen, but you're still babies in my book, so you better keep it in your pants."
I looked at my boots, "Yes, ma'am." How in the world was I supposed to keep my hands off Holly, when I wanted her so bad?
"Good." Hessie nodded and headed out.
Hal sighed, "Look, at least use protection, you got me? You get Holly pregnant and Hessie will string you up by your balls."
I choked a little, "Yes sir."
Hal left me alone then. I glanced back toward the cows. Cows were simple creatures. They didn't have to worry about much. Well, our cows didn't. They were dairy cows and had a cushy life. They didn't have to worry about falling love and risking bodily harm on very important limbs.
