Starting New

I woke up, light flooding my eyes. Where was I? Who was I? I couldn't even remember who I was. When the room stopped spinning, I saw a four people standing in there. To my left was a blonde girl, wearing her hair long, and lose. On my right was a girl with red hair pulled back behind her backwards cap. Above me was a boy with chestnut hair, and across from me was a centaur.

" Bethany? Bethany, are you okay," the blond girl said.
"Who," I replied.
"You, are you okay?"
I began to sit up.
"I think so. But, who are you?"
"Beth, it's me. It's Aleigh."
"Aleigh?"
"Yes! And Danny and Justin. Don't you remember us?"
"I'm sorry, no."
"You took a pretty hard fall," the centaur began,"this kind of thing is only to be expected."
"Will she regain her memory," the red headed girl asked.
"I hate to say most likely not. That being said, you have a lot to catch up on, Danny, Aleigh, Justin, better get to it."

The centaur left the room.

"So, there's a lot we need to tell you. Starting with where you are, and why you're here. You are at Camp Halfblood, the camp for demigods."

Aleigh gestured to the red haired girl.

"This is Danny, daughter of Aphrodite..."
"APHRODITE!! As in, the Greek goddess?! Are you trying to pull something?"
"No she's not.."the boy chimed in,"I'm Justin, son of Hypnos. And Aleigh is the daughter of Apollo."
"And you,"Aleigh began,"are the daughter of Iris."
"The daughter of Iris?"
"Yes."
"Hmm. Okay, if I had not just seen a centaur leave I would be a little more skeptical."
"Ha,well, maybe it's time we take you back to meet your half siblings. You'll be spending a lot of time with them."

Aleigh and Danny began to walk out of the room while Justin helped me down off of the table.

"Thanks."
"No problem."

We followed the others out of the building, but once we were outside, I stopped in awe. Above me winged horses flew and races against each other as their riders clung on tightly. I glanced over my shoulder to see A field of archers. This place was amazing. Justin tugged on me to keep going. Eventually Aleigh and Danny had shown me everything, the big house, the pavilions, even most of the cabins. But now we are at our final destination, cabin 14, Iris's cabin.
