Capturing Flags

I walked with Isabelle until we reached a round table where kids of varying ages sat tossing weapons and armor onto the flat surface and talking amongst themselves.
"Iris!"
Everyone looked up when Isabelle called.
"Is everyone ready?!"
"Yeah!!!"
"Strategies developed?!"
"Yeah!!"
"Ready to show the Apollo cabin that we're not the kids of a telephone operator?!"
"Yeah!!"
"Well let's go!"

Everyone ran after Isabelle after she led them to our side. She tossed me a helmet and a chest plate. Once I had put those on, she handed me a sword.
"Don't kill anyone with this! You'll get in big trouble!"
I nodded uneasily.
"Attention,everyone!!"
A man called everyone to listen.
"That's Mr.D,"Isabelle began to inform me,"aka, Dionysus."
"Wow."

"Now that everyone is ready, I would like to make an announcement before you begin, due to recent events the far section of the woods is prohibited until further notice."
I leaned towards Isabelle,"What recent events would he be referring to?"
She shrugged,"I'm not sure, I do know that Aleigh, Justin, and Danny just returned from a quest."
"What quest?"
"That part was top secret. No one knows where they went, or why they went there."

Mr.D rambled on until eventually he said,"Everyone ready! Begin!"
All of the sudden everyone rushed at each other with weapons drawn. I got lost from Isabelle, but soon saw her rushing towards Aleigh. I began to run towards her, when Justin jumped in front of me.
"Hey, there."
He raised his sword and brought it down but I deflected his strike.
"What is this?!"
"Our version of capture the flag!"
Someone was coming at me from behind so I ducked and they hit Justin instead. I didn't look back to see if he was alright, I just ran. I finally reaches Isabelle as she had knocked Aleigh down.
"Ha! Looks like this time, Iris wins."
Aleigh only smiled.
"Not quite."
She had a crossbow strapped to her arm and she shot it out towards a tree. An arrow hit it with a rope tied to it and she clicked a switch and was being pulled through the air and landed right next to the flag, which she then picked up. Everyone on her side began to cheer as she was lifted up onto their shoulders.
"You put up a good fight, Belle, but tromós put up a better one."
"Tromós,"I asked.
"The name of her crossbow, Greek word for terror."
I nodded and Justin came up to me.
"Hey, that was pretty good for your first fight."
"Thanks, I guess."
"I'd recommend you train with Aleigh and Danny."
"Maybe I will."
"Yeah,well, I'll see you around."
He jogged back to his group when something fell out of the pack he was carrying. I picked it up and saw it was a diary. I was about to call and let him know I had it, but he was gone.
"Bethany?"
Isabelle had walked up behind me.
"Yes?"
"You ready to head back?"
"Yeah," I said standing up,"sure."
I clutched the diary close to my chest and walked out of the woods.
