Half Blood, Half Truth

Aleigh and I kept training until late in the afternoon. We were walking back towards the cabins when I decided to ask her a bit about myself. Okay, that sounded weird.
"Hey, Aleigh?"
"Yeah?"
"I really don't know much about myself since I hit my head, and I'm curious. How long have I been at Camp Half Blood?"
"Um," she paused,"I'd say about three years."
"Huh. Okay, thanks for letting me know."
We walked a little further until we ran into Justin.
"Hey,Justin,"Aleigh said.
"Hey, guys. Have either of you seen a journal?"
"Journal?"
"Yeah, I uh, think I lost it last night."
"Justin," Aleigh began,"Can I talk to you for a minute?"
"Uh, not sure now is a good time..."
"Oh, trust me,"she began, narrowing her eyes,"it is."
They walked off and left me standing there.
I was not sure of many things at that point, but I was sure of one thing: I wasn't going to give him the diary. I will confess though, I was considering telling him I had it until Aleigh freaked out, so I knew it must be something bad. Anyway, I walked back to the cabin and was greeted by Isabelle.
"Hey, how'd training go?"
"Fine."
"Can you shoot an arrow yet, or did Aleigh do the classic,'point your bow down and watch me demonstrate' act?"
"No, I shot."
"Oh, good. Well, I was just on my way out, but I'll see ya later?"
"Sure. Bye."
"Bye."
I waited until she was gone before running over to my bed and pulling out the diary. I knew I would have to be careful now that Justin was searching for it. I opened the diary to the next page.

Dear Diary, September 5,~~~~

I have arrived at my destination and practically nothing is here. There is one camp of mortals but I can't stay in one place for too long. Hades is sending all of his forces after me as his attempt to keep me from delivering my message to Poseiden. I would like to place a message in here. I have placed an indestructible spell on this diary to keep it safe. If you are reading this, and the prophecy has yet to be fulfilled, please get the message to Poseidon. If you are reading this, and the prophecy has not been fulfilled, and Hades has yet to claim his children, I have failed and am depending on you.

Sincerely,
Eliza Jones

Who was Eliza Jones? I had no idea. I didn't know of any prophecies yet, so I may ask around. No! I don't want to draw too much attention to myself. Yes! I've lost my memory, so it would make half sense. I'd just have to come up with an explanation, and BAM! That much closer to the truth! I was proud of myself and decided to read another page.

Dear Diary, September 6,~~~~

I am very close to arriving and delivering my message. I have just stayed the past couple of nights at

That was it?!?! There had to be more! She didn't even finish her sentence! I couldn't make an explanation as to why, but I was sure I could. I flipped through the diary frantically trying to find another written on page, a note even. I found nothing. Then Isabelle walked in.
"Hey, Bethany, I forgot my...is that the diary Justin was looking for?"
"What?! Uh, no! No,no,no, this is uh, my sister's!! Yeah. My sister's!"
"Oh, you have a sister? There are a lot of things I don't know about you."
"Really? I would think after being cabin mates for three years, we would know more about each other."
"Um, we haven't been cabin mates for three years, Bethany."
"But Aleigh told me that I'd been here, at camp, for the past three years."
"Not that I know of."
I thought back to my first day, well, as far back as I can remember, when Isabelle had said,"Welcome to Camp Half Blood." That brought me to a scary realization. Aleigh had lied to me about my past and I had no idea why.
