Marta frowned and put the dishes down that's she stacked together. She walked closer and picked up Gabriel's drinking glass and took a sniff and I suppose you are drinking one-hundred-proof liquor at ten in the morning because of the straight man that is now going to be living here? Marta put his glass back down on the table and picked her dishes back up and walked out of the room laughing loudly.
Gabriel frowned he could hear her laughing well beyond the door. Well, he is he yelled after her and the laughter got louder. Gabriel gulped down the remainder of his drink and frowned from the after burn. "Great now I can't even drive after drinking that," he mumbled. He slowly rose to his feet and felt the effect immediately, "this is why I don't drink hard liquor" he sighed. Might as well try to sleep it off he wasn't going to get much accomplished in this state.
After returning to his room and looking at his shabby things Julian turned around went back to the rental office and handed over his key he would not be returning and there was nothing of value in that room. When he climbed back in the car he asked Drake if he could take him shopping. He smiled when Drake turned to face him and explained that Gabriel told me to do whatever you asked today he quickly added.

Julian emerged from the store loaded with packages. He'd spent most of the four-thousand dollars and maxed out the eight-hundred-dollar credit limit on the credit card he'd been offered in the store. It was as if everything was finally falling into place and all thanks to the kindness of strangers. Julian made his way down the third level parking area where Drake told him he would wait. He could barely contain himself as Drake loaded his things into the trunk. The first thing he'd planned to do was when he got back to the ranch was unpack his belongings and take a long nap, who knew shopping was so draining.
