I ran through the woods. My cloak hood was up but providing little comfort from the harsh nip of the frost that surrounded me. That didn't stop me though. I was currently running around the woods; bow in hand and daggers strapped around my waist, practising my battle strategy. To be honest it was more me practising my acrobatic skills, but with a bow. That meant ariel flips; back hand springs, split kicks, front flips down from trees, all the fun stuff. I was having so much fun, glad that I wore my corset and leggings rather than one of my dresses. That's when I heard screaming. I ran extremely quickly to the source of the noise.

I saw a girl hid behind a lamppost and Mr tumnus peaking out from behind a tree.

"What is going on, I heard screaming?" I asked politely.

"Your highness, I was just startled by a new presence that I haven't seen before." He explained. I then noticed the little girl pick up the package that Mr Tumnus had dropped.

"You dropped this." She spoke timidly. The girl handed the package to the fawn, while looking at his legs.

"Hello, young one. What is your name?" I questioned her.

"I'm Lucy Pevensie, you?" She asked me, in a friendly way.

"My name is Adelaide Amity. However most people call me Addy, well if they remember that is." I informed her while looking over at Mr tumnus who had once again forgotten to call me Addy or at least Adelaide instead of your highness.

"Sorry you highness, uh... Adelaide. You know how I always forget that." I just laughed at my friend.

"Are you royalty?" Asked Lucy in utter shock.

"Yes, I am. I am the princess, although I do not look like one with a bow, arrows and no fancy clothes. Do you have siblings Lucy?" Quick to change the subject from the fact I was a princess.

"I do. There is me, the youngest. Then Edmund, the second youngest. My older sister Susan and finally, Peter, the eldest." She said proudly.

"May I ask how old you all are? And also where you came from?" I smiled and came down to her level.

"Well Peter is 16, Susan is 14, Edmund is 12 and I am 10. I came from the wardrobe in the spare room." She smiled.

"Well Lucy from the village of War-drobe in the wonderful place of spare-oom. Would you care to come and have tea with me and the Princess?" Mr tumnus said. Lucy happily agreed.

"I am sorry, but I must go now, maybe some other time. It was perfectly splendid meeting and befriending you Lucy. When you next are in Narnia, whistle and I shall come and find you. Perhaps teach you some of my skills." Lucy eagerly nodded her head and I ran off to inform the beavers of what I had encountered.

You may be wondering how a princess came to live with beavers instead of in a castle. The answer is simple, it was too dangerous and it wasn't my place to sit on the throne. The throne was not mine to take. Aslan is the true king, I am his daughter. When I was a baby, the white witch cursed him to be forever a lion after she murdered my mother. I was taken to the beavers to grow up away from danger. I have been this way for 100 years. You may wonder how old I am. I age with my soul mate. As he ages as will I, or as close to his age. The beavers say I look about 15. It is said that the curse will be lifted on my wedding day only when I marry my soul mate so my father can walk me down the aisle, the high king of Narnia. There is a prophecy based on this, as well as one saying that 2 kings and 2 queens will be our saviours, both of which were prophesised on the same day, the day I first saw the light of day, my birthday.

The following day, I said good morning to both beavers and headed off. Today I wore a grey dress with a hood, my usual boots and my hair in a simple fishtail braid. That's when the sound of a girl whistling filled the air. I ran to the lamppost at once and was greeted with Lucy Pevensie.

"Hello again, Queen Lucy." I bowed my head to her.

"I am no royalty Addy." She said with a confused face.

"All will become clear to you soon. How about I teach you acrobatics?" I asked.

"What acrobatic can you do?"

"Can you cartwheel?" I questioned her. She shook her head. For the next few hours I taught Lucy how to do a bridge, cartwheel and climb a tree. Towards the latter part of the day I decided to teach her how to throw daggers, as that would be easier than her trying to use a bow far bigger than her. By the end of my teaching her, she was almost as good as me. She was having so much fun. However, after she had to go and meet Mr Tumnus. I walked her too his house, said goodbye and left.
