Ash Ketchum a ten year old trainer from Pallet Town stared out across the massive arena in horror as many Pokémon were battling in a death match of sorts, the originals and the clones were ducking it out and it was getting close to the point when some might just die.
Ash couldn't take it, all his life he wanted to catch Pokémon, battle with them, train them, be their friend, but after he had traveled all over Kanto, he had discovered a deep truth: his Pokémon had become more than simple friends, they had surpassed being best friends, no, they had become a family, they had been through the bad times and the good times together, through defeat and victory, through suffering and hardship, through it all, his Pokémon were right there with him and now seeing them coming this close to dying, with him unable to help them, it drove him to the edge of sanity. He heard every cry of pain, every slash, bite and snap from the fight and it drove him mad. Eventually he had enough of this pointless fighting, he knew what he had to do, even though it would cost him dearly, he decided there was no other alternative answer to the problem that plagued him right now.
He stood up, puffed out his chest and then charged out as fast as he could physically go, he ignored the cries from his friends, he dodged the fighting Pokémon until he saw his target. He was headed right for Mew and Mewtwo, the two Psychic Cat Legendaries who were dueling it out in the center of the arena, neither side able to get an advantage on the opposing side, so the two Legendaries then powered up their most power psychic blasts and then released the awesome power. But neither one of them saw Ash running at them and he took the blasts and a huge explosion shook the island to it's core and a huge amount of dust had been kicked up by the explosion so no one could see what had happened and thus the fighting stopped, time seemed to slow down and after what seemed like an eternity, the dust finally settled down, and Ash was seen lying on his back, standing still, not moving at all and his friends ran over to him and did what ever they could to try and revive him, but to no avail.
Ash felt nothing, but pain when those blasts had struck him, when suddenly he felt a power deep within himself awaken and then he never felt so alive, like he had a electric charge greater than any found in nature. His still body then glowed a bright blue color and Ash's body began to change. When the light had dimmed down, Ash was now standing up, he had grown to now be 6 ft., 7 in, he also now had angel wings of bright vibrant blue grow out off him, and he just radiated of raw, untameable power around him and all seemed submissive below his gaze.
When Mew and Mewtwo saw this incredible power, they stared in wonder of this supposedly unimportant boy known as Ash Ketchum, who now radiated off power even greater than there own.
Ash looked Mewtwo in the eye and said in a deep, mature voice, "Mewtwo, Clone of Mew, Creator of the Cloned Pokémon, strongest Psychic Pokémon in existence and Lord of this Island, you will stop this meaningless fighting or there will be consequences. Nothing will be gained from continuing this fight, for all that will come of it is death, pain and sorrow. It matters not if you are born naturally or artificially, for we are all alive and therefore entitled to the same rights that all sentient beings have. Freedom is the right of all sentient beings and the fact that you were denied those rights was a crime, and Team Rocket will get what is coming to them, but if you wipe out all humanity and Pokémon kind, you will have become even worse the Team Rocket."
Mewtwo went into deep thought. No one had ever dared challenge his power and yet here was this boy who had touched his soul and made him feel like he wasn't a abomination, Ash just accepted him like any other Pokémon, Ash had even gone so far to protect his friends that he nearly gave his life for them and thus he had earned Mewtwo's respect. Thusly, he decided that he would stop this fighting and listen to this young man who had nearly died to save everyone here and so he said in his deep, monotone voice, "Very well, Ash Ketchum, your selfless act that nearly cost you your life has proven that there are good people in this world, not all of them are like my old master and I wish to join you in your journey. You alone of humanity are worthy to wield my awesome power and so I will follow you to the ends of the earth to protect you, my friend."
To say Ash was stunned was a understatement, here was the strongest psychic type ever known and he wanted to join him in his quest to be the best and he was even more shocked when Mew said she wanted to join Ash as well. He said "yes" to them both and gladly welcomed them into his family with open arms.
"These cloned Pokémon need a good home as well" Mewtwo said.
"Well take them." Misty and Brock said.
"Very well, they are yours, treat them like family" Mewtwo said.
Misty took the clone Blastoise, Venasaur, Rapidash, and Pikachu.
Brock captured the Charizard, Psyduck, Ryperior and Gyarados.
Ash's team was joined by the clone Vaporeon, Persian, and the legendary Mew and Mewtwo.
Ash let out Mew and Mewtwo who teleported Ash, Brock and Misty to the Kanto side of Mt. Silver so they could train their Pokémon really hard for the upcoming Indigo League and Mewtwo also erased the incident from the minds of the other trainers who had come so they could never tell anyone of what had transpired on New Island.
Time Skip...
Ash was panting and covered in sweat from his super intense training exercise to strengthen his Aura, the source of his transformation and powers. Aura is the spiritual energy that exists within all living things, but Ash's Aura was different from anyone else's instead of Ash's Aura just being limited to himself, he can connect his Aura to all living things, thus increasing his power many millions of times what it should be.
It had been three months since the incident at New Island, and since then, due to the increased training all, but one Pokémon under Ash's command has gotten to their final form and they all had grown into the strongest of their species.
Misty and Brock have also upped their training and their Pokémon were also stronger than they should be, not to the level of Ash's Pokémon, but still stronger than most Pokémon of their species.
Ash looked across the barren mountain top and thought about how far he had come in his journey and how close he was to showing the world how powerful he really was.
"It's time, send the call Pikachu." Ash said to his faithful rodent, who nodded and sent a load cry down the mountain and soon Ash's Pokémon and friends had assembled around him, and he looked them over.
Pikachu was a furry ball of pain and power, Charizard had started to listen to him again and thusly became his third most powerful Pokémon, Venasaur had become a powerhouse that was almost too powerful to beat, Blastoise was able to tank several Frenzy Plants in a row, Primape was a hurricane of punches and pain, Kingler was absolutely vicious in combat, Pidgeot was lightning quick and almost never missed, Muk was insanely resilient and destructive, Tauros was an encyclopedia of pain and power, Persian was able to strike fifty blows in a row before the opponent knew of the first one, Vaporeon had become a juggernaut equal to Blastoise, Mew had curbed her antics a little bit, but when not playing, she was all but unstoppable, and Ash's strongest Pokémon Mewtwo had increased his power ten fold and getting stronger each passing day, also his heart and personality were slowly coming out so he acted more emotionally.
"Listen up. We are going to go to the Indigo Plateau and we are going to win the League, beat the Elite Four, and destroy the Champion to take our rightful place as the world's greatest team. Are you with me?!" He shouted to which he got a chorus of cheers back and he then returned his friends and then they began their long walk towards the Indigo Plateau and the chance to become legendary.
