Soul Binding

            Nym is one of the few Sirens left, creatures who pleasure themselves in luring men in by promising their wildest desires, and then sealing their souls away, in the collection of their songs. She pleasures in stealing the men away from relationships the most, claiming her victims as prizes, as proof that she is better than any human out there. All she wants is to be the best, and she will do anything to reach her goal. Once she claims her prize, she quickly becomes bored and moves on to her next target.

            Dax is a human male who is used to being shoved to the side, used to being that quiet man in the corner while others whispered about his looks, with his scrawny build or his long hair the topic of most whispers. He keep his mouth shut and face turned until it comes to others, Dax cannot sit idly by while someone is being bullied by others, because he understands the pain, but he isn’t quick to admit that is his reasoning behind defending complete strangers.

            What happens when Nym and her Siren sisters decide to victimize a human girl after she tried to seek revenge on Fayre, Nym’s sister, for stealing her man, and Dax comes to the girl’s rescue? The Siren decides to add the human to her collection of male souls, even if he is a bit scrawny, but Dax is not like any of the other humans Nym has dealt with, Nym has to work for his soul. Will Nym capture the human’s soul, or will Dax best the Siren?
