Nym and Dax (Ending) (Edited)

               Nym knew she should have ended him them, just got over with it and taken his soul, but she could not. She wanted more than his soul, she wanted his heart, she wanted to be the woman he loved and she hated that. She was being sucked into the mortal, and it was becoming dangerous. She already knew she was falling for the human, and she should walk away right now, but she could not leave a challenge until she finished it. She just had to be cautious of that sister of his.

                When Nym entered the house, she was greeted by silence and all the members of the party were looking at her. What was that saying humans used?

                “Take a picture, it will last longer.” Nym growled out. “Ok, party is over. I want all of your asses out of my house before I go to bed. And no, I will not answer any of your questions because it isn’t any of your damn business.” Nym snapped before anyone asked her anything. Nym prepared herself for bed, letting the guests leave at their own time, knowing that her sisters would make sure that everyone would be out before Nym went to sleep. Nym looked in the mirror, at the mark that was now turning purple, and realized that she had allowed a human to mark her.

                She still remembered the taste of his blood, which was an indicator at the way his soul would taste. It tasted so bitter, like a broken soul, but something about it was appealing and Nym wanted more.

                When Nym woke up, all she could think about was Dax, she wanted to skip work just so she could go see him, taste his lips again. That was when Nym knew she was in deep, really deep. How could she have let this happen? He was a human, he was only supposed to be a prize, but now Nym wanted more. Nym struggled against her desire and went to work, like the leader she was. Though there was not much to do at the office, Nym simply had to sift through all the new missing cases, making sure that the number of supernatural creatures were not decreasing and that the human kidnapping were not too suspicious. Nym worked for the supernatural world, she was paid to keep them in line, making sure no one exposed themselves to the human world, and so that no more humans than necessary were taken by supernaturals, because then the humans may start getting suspicious.

                Nym impatiently tapped her desk, as she flipped through newspaper articles on the computer. She was annoyed with herself and she was annoyed with father time, for dragging out her day. The second she heard the minute hand land on twelve, she was out of her seat and gathering her things.

                “In a hurry?” Cyrene asked, with a knowing smirk.

                Nym decided not to answer the Nymph, and left the building as quickly as possible. She drove home at high speed, glad that her sisters were not home to see her unnatural excitement. Nym had not lied when she said her sisters were going out of town, they were heading up to a heavily populated city to the north, to go crazy for one night. Nym normally joined them, but she wanted to claim her prize before she started on another male, or that was what she told her sisters. Nym was not sure what she believed anymore when it came to the human, she just knew that she wanted him for herself.

                Once she entered her house, she checked the clock, seeing that it was 5:30, telling Nym that she had only half an hour to get ready, which in Nym’s book was plenty of time. She stripped her work clothes, and then pulled on some tight, white pants, and blue shirt and some silver jewelry. She redid her make-up and she was so confident, she did not even look in the mirror. She heard the knock and immediately moved to the door. She opened it, and revealed an attractive looking Dax, or maybe because he was growing on her, he was becoming more attractive.
