Dan: Considering you and Dan (but mostly Dan) were terrified on how the phandom would react to the two of you dating, you kept your relationship secret. About 3 months after you had started dating him, you went out to Starbucks with him, thinking nothing of it. But when you got home, a photo of you and Dan was all over Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. No, it wasn't a screenshot from a video you guys had collabed on, it was a picture of you and him at Starbucks. Holding hands. With him kissing your cheek. And you smiling like a 16 year old girl. While the phandom had never shown interest in your relationship before, they were super hyped and excited about it now.           #[Y/NandDan] was even trending on Twitter for a while.

Phil: You and Phil had been dating for a month, and you guys decided it was best to break the news to the fans about tour relationship. And what better way than with the boyfriend/girlfriend tag? You sat down with Phil, and started recording, excited when you heard him say "Hey internet friends!" Let's just say the results were... And wow, was he pissed. He pretty much was like an angry mother to the phandom, telling them that they had no right to judge your and Phil's relationship, and that they had to get over it. Well, that had a pretty amazing effect on the phandom. They suddenly supported your relationship, and made cute fan art and stuff for it. You know this because you were getting spammed with it for the next week.
