Lost and Found

Chapter 6: Yes

I was sitting in my room listening to All Time Low. I'm so happy it's the weekend, no Sarah, no Jessica, and no Abby for two days then it goes right back to normal.

"Lane! Come here!" I heard Tyler call from downstairs.

I paused my music and went downstairs to see what Tyler needed.

"Tyler?" I ask looking for him.

"In here." I heard him say from the living room.

I walk into the living room and I see Sarah and Tyler sitting on the couch. Tyler's arm is wrapped around Sarah's neck. Once Tyler saw me he stood up and so did Sarah.

"You know Sarah. Her and I are now dating." Tyler smiled.

I stood there not knowing what to say. He can't date her she's evil. But he doesn't know it. Sarah stood there smiling at me and she looked back at Tyler and they kissed.

"I'm- I'm gonna go for a walk." I said walking backwards.

Tyler gave me a confused look and I quickly went out the door. I walked down the sidewalk. I've decided to go to Josh's house. Hopefully Tyler and Sarah won't go there. It's 8:35 p.m, I hope Josh or his parents won't mind me coming over this late.

I knocked on the door and a few moments later josh's mom opened the door and smiled.

"Hello Lane, come in." She said.

"Thank you." I smiled stepping in the house.

"No Tyler?" She asked.

"No, it's just me today." I said.

"Well Josh is up in his room." She smiled.

I smiled at her and I headed up the stairs towards Josh's room. I heard his drums from down the hall. His door was cracked open but I knocked anyways.

"Come in." Josh said.

I opened the door and went straight toward his bed and plopped down. Josh was sitting at his drum kit.

"What's wring Lane?" Josh asked.

"Nothing, Did you know Tyler is going out with Sarah?" I asked him.

"Yeah, now he's gonna be spending more time with her." Josh pouted.

"But I still got you." Josh smiled.

"Yeah. You still got me." I smiled at him.

Josh and I stared into each other's eyes for a few moments. It was a comfortable silence until Kyle (Josh's little brother) and his friend ran into the room. Kyle and his friend threw water balloons at Josh and I then ran out of the room laughing.

"Damn it! I'm sorry about that Lane." Josh said standing up from his drums.

"It's fine." I smiled at him.

Josh walked over to his closet and took off his shirt. I sat there unaware that my mouth was hanging open. When Josh turned around with a new shirt on I closed my mouth and looked at the wall.

"Uh- Lane?" Josh said.

"Yeah?" I said looking at him.

"Your shirt is see through." Josh chuckled.

I didn't bother to look down at my shirt so I just kinda stared at Josh like an idiot. Josh smiled and he grabbed a shirt from his closet and tossed it to me.

"Thanks." I said standing up.

"Turned around." I smiled.

"Oh" Josh said and turned around.

I took of my wet shirt and put on the new one Josh gave me. It was really big in me, it was his NASA shirt.

"You're good." I said as I sat down on his bed.

Josh turned around and gave me a big smile.

"What?" I giggled.

"You look cute in my shirt." Josh said.

I covered my cheeks with my hands so he wouldn't see that I was blushing. Josh sat down next to me and pulled my hands away from my cheeks.

"I've been wanting to ask you this for as long as I can remember, will you Charlie Lane Joseph be my girlfriend?" Josh smiled.

"As long as you never call me by my first name again." I smiled.

"Done. So...." Josh trailed off.

I smiled at him before pressing my lips against his. Josh put his hand on the back of my neck to deepen the kiss.

"I take that as a yes." Josh smiled at me as we pulled away from the kiss.
