Now, as I'm a pitiful person I had spent the last night binge watching Glee, as any non-social teen does. And I was so tired that I had actually passed out in band and was awoken by my friend Robert blaring a trumpet in my face. And when tenth period finally rolled around, I was done. Thankfully I had somehow befriended Lisa and Maya in health class, and already knew the quiet girl named Susie, so I wasn't completely alone. Maya had noticed me staring at Kya and asked if I liked her. I then found out Maya herself was bisexual, friends with Kya and knew that Kya wasn't straight... Good for me¿
As the bell rang our teacher walked in, on time for once... And announced that we'd be doing a poster assignment. When he told us to get in a group and start working, Maya, Lisa, and Susie met with me in the middle of the room.
"Hey Ashley, is it OK if Kya works with us too?" Maya gestured behind her to Kya, who was looking down with her arms crossed.
"Yes of course!" I walked over and looked at Alice, wow she was even prettier up close... "Hey I'm Ashley" She looked up at me.
"Kya." She said in the prettiest, smoothest voice ever.
And with that, off we went, creating the best, and worst poster of all, all while making jokes about the internet and our interests. We all loved the same bands and memes... Near the end of class I mentioned Dan and Phil and Kya went nuts.
"OMFG I love them! I ship it... Even though they're 'straight' I swear to god, Dan's even gayer than... Me" she paused as if I would hate her now "I'm pansexual by the way, I hope it doesn't matter..."
I laughed overly loudly and replied "So am I. Don't worry."
She smiled and mentioned that she had a fan account on Instagram that I should follow so we could chat.
Well, that certainly wasn't the worst day at school... I found out that she wasn't only pretty, but a decent person! And I now had a chance to talk to her outside of school.
And with that, my emo little heart went home and stalked her page, careful not to like anything....
