Ch. 2 Meet and Then We're Off

Marlee's POV

I didn’t get to talk to Harry at ALLLLL.. Niall just kept of talking and when he wasn’t I’d try to but he’d just barge in….

And it turns out that we are meeting up with the boys before we went somewhere... When we pulled up it wasn't just Liam, Louis, and Zayn.. I saw 4 more boys standing next to them. I don't think I've ever met them before nor has Niall told me about them either. 

We parked like right next to where they were all standing waiting for us.. We came out of the car and I just smile widely as I looked at the boys then I reached the 4 others and looked up at the sky. I kept admiring the sky and all I heard was laughing but it wasn't familiar ones. They were different...?? 

I looked up and saw 4 boys laughing but there was one that just smiled at me.. All I thought was since I have their attention might as well introduce myself.. Right?! Yeah totally.. So here it goes nothing... 

"Heyyyyyyy I'm Marlee.." I said all awkward. 

"Hii-heyy we're 5 Seconds of Summer..." That's all I got from that. I heard some say 'Hey' others say 'Hi' then next thing they are arguing whether it's hey or hi. I stand there laughing and waiting for them to tell me their names. 

I was just looking at the ground when one finally said, 

"Hi I'm Luke..." I looked up and said in my head that he was the one that gave me that look. I just stood there for a second and admired him and noticing how tall and hot he was. I stared for quite awhile until I came back to planet Earth. Nor did I notice that he was eyeing me up and down. Another one goes, 

“I’m Calum” Then the other two just followed. 

“I’m Ashton..”

“Saving the best for the last, I’m Michael..” I started laughing along with all the boys… All I heard was ‘No you’re not.. I’m better.. No I am.. No me’ I'm already starting to like them... That's not bad right?? I surely do hope not.

Since I didn’t know where we were going I said shouldn't they know..??

"Do you guys know where we are going??"

"Nope, we were just invited" They said all in unison. How did they not know..?? That's strange. I'm guessing it’s a surprise.. Isn't that just wonderful *sarcastic voice* 

I stood there next to Luke, I think he's Luke… I looked at him just to make sure… Yeah that's Luke as I tried so hard to look away as quickly as I could. I turned away butI felt him staring at me and I didn’t want to look at him cause nothing is more awkward than making eye contact with the person staring at you….

I just stood there looking around and not noticing that we were leaving. Next thing I know was the 4 boys yelling, “I WANT TO RIDE WITH MARLEEEEE!” I looked at all of them and each one of them just nodding with a smirk on their face.

“Fine, I guess I will ride the themmm.” Niall and Harry just laughing and pointing at me and not trying to save me from a situation I did not want to be in.

*3 minutes later*

We’re in the car following my brother’s and my ‘other brothers’. They aren’t all my brothers but I’ve known them for so long that it feels like they are. Back to the car situation, I’m sitting in between Luke and Calum with Ashton driving and Michael got shot gun.

I don’t know where to look so I’m just staring straight forward, trying to avoid eye contact or just looking at Luke and Calum. Man this is the longest car ride ever and not to mention that on every turn Ashton made it sharp. Meaning, either Luke was really close to me or Calum was. I’m currently being squished up against Luke while he hugs the window. I laugh but not for that long cause Calum is literally smashing me up against him.

The turn was finally over and I sat back in the middle saying sorry to Luke but next thing you know I feel him grab my sweater and pull me closer towards him. I look at him as he just smiles and puts his hand on my thigh. Uncomfortable? Yeah, just a lil bit.  

 Luke's POV

Never in my life have I sat with a girl who's in between another person and myself. Marlee was the first girl to do it in my life...  If it wasn't for Ashton, the car ride would be more smooth and less invading of space.  But I think that he was doing this on purpose. 

Throughout the car ride every turn was sharp. And Marlee was constantly squished up against me and couldn't move back because of Calum. Not saying I didn't like it because I do sorta have this thing for her even though we only met like 15 minutes ago..... 

One of the turns made me practically hug the window and Marlee being so close cause Calum did not want to scoot over.. We stayed like this for a good 5 seconds (of summer ahaha) before the turn ended. I saw Marlee scoot back to where she originally sat. 

I want her to stay, so I pulled her sweater towards me making her fall over a lil. She looked at me and I gave her a smirk and winked terribly which made her burst out laughing. I just frowned and slid my hand onto her thigh. 

I hoped that she didn't  think that was weird because I really like her. 

Marlee's POV

Having Luke's hand on my thigh wasn't weird... I didn't move which means I liked it right??.... His hands were warm compared to my cold legs. I looked at him again smiling and pushed hair behind my ear and he just smiled widely at me. 

We've been sitting in the car for awhile now... I'd think we should almost be there and I was going to ask but then I saw we were beginning to slow down. Which could only mean we were finally here.....

It was a carnival!! I looked at it trying to remember where I've seen it because I have been here.. Anyways, we parked right next to my brother and Harry them, I got out the car on Luke's side... I felt him gently slide his hand up my side as I walked away making me jump a lil. Giving me the chills as I walked towards Niall.... Does that mean?? No but it can't... 

I tried to walk towards Niall and had a short conversation about whether this is the place I thought it was... And I was right! 

I hugged Liam, Louis, and Zayn since I didn't get to really say 'hello' to them and Harry too because he had his arms out... I mean I can't turn down a hug from my best friend... 

After gathering and doing what we needed to do before going in, we began walking towards the carnival. All I was thinking was 'this is going to be an interesting night.....' 

 I feel like it doesn't flow and I'm sorry I was typing away because more ideas just kept popping into my head... I'm sorry!! Hope you liked this chapter XD
