Ch. 3 At the Carnival

Marlee's POV 

We are finally inside the carnival and we're trying to decide what ride to go on... So many choices.. 

"Let's all go on the ferris wheel..." said Harry. 

"Yeahhhhhhh" they all said in agreement but I didn't say anything. I'm hoping that no one saw that I didn't say anything and we just went on it... But nooooo Niall had to see it, out of all people my brother.. 

"Mar, what do you wanna do??" Niall asked. I shrugged trying to show that I didn't care. But nowadays people understand that when someone says 'Idk' deep down inside they really do care. And one of the persons is my wonderful brother, Niall. 

"Cmon Marrrr... Let's go on the ferris wheel!" Calum said. 

I smiled and nodded agreeing to ride. But wait, only 2 people fit in a cart.. I counted off in twos within our group. We luckily had an even number. That's a good thing right??!! Now someone won't have to go on every ride by themselves. 

I guess before we got there everyone had already chose their partners... and of course Luke and I are the ones who don't have partners.

And I guess he noticed before I did and stared at me with a smirk on his face... It took me awhile to look up at him because I'm a little shy.. Don't ask why.. I just couldn't, okay!!

Luke's POV

I'm walking right next to her and I'm just admiring her... All she's doing is staring at the floor. She's sooo cute when she does that... Am I fanboying over her right now?? Oh gawddd..

Anyways, I am so happy because I'm partnered with her since everyone else has their own partners. 

We're at the ride waiting in line and she is standing in front of me. I didn't know what to do so I just stared at her and I never realized how long her hair is.. I mean we did just meet but still. 

I am still daydreaming and the line moved up more and more... I guess she saw that I wasn't paying any attention and she grabbed my hand..

At that moment, I snapped out of it and let her pull me foward. I squeezed her hand and she looked back at me. I quickly looked away and loosened my grip. I heard her laughing at me and she squeezed my hand. 

That's good right?? At least now I know that she has some sort of feeling for me. For a second, I thought that she didn't like me.. But this changes my thoughts

Marlee's POV

I look back and see Luke daydreaming away, so I grab his hand making him follow me..

I felt him squeeze my hand and I guess he snapped out of it. I look back at him but he looks away... Gawd, I love when he does that... It's so cute. Wait no not this againnn.. Urgh Marlee stahp!

I just kept pulling him so we can catch up to where the line is currently.. I squeezed his hand back because I like him... His hand and my hand are like meant to be.. Like mines fits perfectly in his. 

I wasn't really pulling him anymore, he is right behind me. Like so close, I can gently feel him breathing. I'm so weird?! We finally caught up to the group and I stopped quickly making him run into me. 

"Owwww" I said.

"Awhh, Mar I'm sorry" he said frowning .

"No no no no you're fine.." 

He just gave me a small smile.. I scooted back towards him while looking at him. I'm standing there awkwardly waiting for something to happen... I don't know what but something..

I just stared up at the sky but I felt something... 

I look down right at my waist.. And I see his hands wrapping around me... I got the chills and he was about to let go but I grabbed his wrists to stop him from letting go of me. I liked his wrapped around me especially cause I'm freezing.. I put my hands in the big pocket of my sweater as his hands followed mine. 

No one could see our hands but they were intertwined with one another..

Everytime the line moved, I moved and he moved trying not to lose his grip around me. I giggle at him a couple times and when I did he poked my sides, making me burst out laughing... 

*2 minutes later at the front of the line*

Everyone in front of us got on the ferris wheel and it's our turn to get in the cart. I decided to get in first but he wouldn't release me.. So I poked himi trying to tickle him to let go and it worked.

I got in and he followed me. 

I throw my legs ontop of his because I'm soo cold. I'm also hoping that he will keep me warm... I looked at him and he's smiling and partially laughing at me. 

"Whaaaaaatttt??" I said sort of frowning... 

"Nothing nothing.. you're just so cute.." Me cute?? Whaat? Noooo... no no no no. I disagreed with him but he didn't like that . So he kept poking me which tickled and hurt until I said 'Fineeeeeee'. 

I could tell that he has a lot of questions just by the look on his face. I hope this ride is long because I like him and it feels like he's already mine.

But then I dom't want it to be long because I don't want to answer all the questions he has for me... Oh boyyy here goes nothing.. Wish me luck?!!
