Double Date

This is a little hard to do, but I hope this works fingers crossed.

Ted or Barney will be paired with Robin and Marshall with Lily if they aren't with you❤

Maybe I'll have Barney hit on a girl during some other date.

Ted

Out on your first date was with Ted. First dates always scared you, I mean you barely know the person well.

You told Ted to invite his friends along since it might be a little awkward between you two.

When you got to the restaurant, the only person who was missing was Ted.

You introduced yourself to Barney and Marshall.

Marshall was sitting across from Lily, and Barney was sitting across from an empty seat. You sat next to Barney.

"Barney...where's your date?" You asked him

"Oh I haven't met her yet, I'm still looking" he said scopeing around the bar with his eyes.

"Wait. You mean you're going to ask a girl out right now and have her eat dinner with us?"

"....actually yes" Barney said smiling as he stands up.

"So how's work going for you (Y/N)?" Marshall asks to break the silence.

"It's going good, yeah, I just got this small promotion. So that makes things a little easier." You say accidentally stopping the conversation.

There was an awkward pause as Barney comes back with a girl.

"Guys I'd like you to meet Milika" Barney says

Awkward "heys" get passed around amongst the table.

Just then Ted comes in with his little blazer and his bed look hair.

"Hey sorry I'm late everyone I was caught up in a little bit of traffic." You were so glad Ted was there because you didn't actually get formally introduced to his friends.

"Hey (Y/N) -wait, Barney who is that?

"Oh that's Milika"

"Riggghtt. Hey there"

You all sat down and ate, everyone was passing old stories around and laughing at them. At one point Milika dumped Barney and he got back up and found another girl named Shelly.

You talked through the night, and ended up being closer to Ted than ever. It was strange, but you really liked Ted's friends and enjoyed double dates. After meeting his friends, you loved Ted even more.

On the way home you were so happy, you went on and on about Ted's friends. He kissed you on the forehead and said that he was glad you had such a good time. 

You fell asleep in the car and Ted gave you his nice blazer.  He later carried you in and you snuggled right up in bed along side Ted.

Barney

For your second date, Barney wanted to introduce you to his friends. So you went on a movie date.

On the car ride there Barney got excited and started to talk about his friends.

"So Ted is dating Robin, and Marshall is married to Lily. Ted's a little book-headed, he can go on and on about boring stuff no one cares about. Marshall is super weird also. Lily is nice and Robin is just usually there doing nothing"

"Um alright, do you have anything good to say about them?" You ask shyly.

"I said Lily was nice."

"Right." You say remembering what he said earlier.

When you finally got into the theater everyone had already found seats, and saved two for you. On one side of you was Barney and the other was Ted.

"Hey (Y/N), nice to meet you" Ted said shaking your hand.

"Nice to meet you too, Barney has said a lot about you guys"

"Oh god, Barney what did you say?" Ted asked, "don't listen to him (Y/N), we're pretty cool people."

"Really now?" You say glaring at Barney.

You spent the rest of the commercials talking to your new friends, you laughed and made lame jokes towards Barney. Throughout the middle of the conversation you started to notice Barney trying to get your attention, but you just ignored it for the most part.

Finally Barney broke when the movie was starting.

"THE MOVIE IS STARTING! NOW FOCUS ON ME (Y/N)!!!!" Barney screamed out of no where, scaring everyone around, including you.

"What? Barney shhhhhhh. Are you okay?" You ask holding his hand.

"You haven't even spoken a word to me since we got here!" He yelled slightly softer.

"Okay Barney I think we need to use our inside movie voice" you say looking nervously around at the people staring.

Barney yanked his hand away from you and stood up, continuing to tell.

"YOU WANT ME TO KEEP MY VOICE DOWN? You didn't even say anything to me!!"

Just then security came and we got escorted out to our car.

Needless to say, that night you figured out Barney was the jealous type and you both never went on another double date again.

Marshall

For you're second double date (since Marshall loves double dates) you went to an amusement park.

Ted was with Robin, and Barney was bringing some girl he met, Nickie was her name.

When you first got there, you hit all of the giant roller coasters before anyone ate anything. Going on the big ones Marshall always held you hand, knowing that you hate heights.

You would both scream at the top of your lungs, sometimes you'd hear Barney in the background screaming slightly louder than everyone else. Which just made you laugh even harder.

When you finished all of the big coasters, you went and at a Ruby's. You all sat in a booth with some pulled up chairs, but you couldn't put a finger on what that reminded you of.

You all had burgers except Nickie, because she's apparently vegan. She just had whole wheat bread, since that is the only thing Ruby's had that was "healthy".

After you ate, you realized how long you actually spent inside the restaurant. By the time you got out the park almost closed. 

You all ran to the Ferriswheel and got the last ride. The ferriswheel stopped at the top and you all looked over the city.

"You're so pretty (Y/N),  i love you"

"I love you too" 

You kissed and looked out onto the city together with the best friends you could ask for.
