2.One Door Closes, For Another to Open

The next morning, when I walked into school I ended up running into Chase.

"Hey, I'm soo sorry I had to leave yesterday during our tour. I heard what happened are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why exactly did you have to leave? Is everything ok?"

"Yeah just some family drama, nothing too bad."

"Oh. That's good I guess."

"I feel bad, maybe I could make it up to you tonight, over dinner or something."

"Sure," I said smiling. "I would love that."

"I'll pick you up at 8?"

I nodded before walking away with the biggest grin on my face.

After school, I headed back to my dorm to get ready for my date.

"TAYLOR!!! I NEED YOUR HELP!!"

"Ugghhh, why are you yelling?!?!?" Taylor said as she walked out of her room.

"I have a date. TONIGHT. With Chase Lawrence!" I said while squealing. I was sooo excited.

"Ooo, he's cute! So, where are you guys going?"

"He said that we'd be going to dinner, I don't know where though. Oh my god!! What do I wear?!?!?"

Taylor walked into my closet and began to search for my outfit for tonight.

The second she began to look, I knew I made a mistake by asking her to help me. Taylor was throwing clothes all over the room. All my newly organized clothes!!

Before I could tell her to stop she walked up to me and pushed me out of the room.

"Go take a shower, while I pick out your outfit, and then we'll do your hair."

With much restraint, I finally gave in and began getting ready for my date.

By the time I got out of the shower Taylor had laid a very cute outfit on my bed. She chose a red dress that ended mid thigh with a cute black belt around the waist. She  also laid out a creme colored pair of heels, with gold earing, and a red and gold clutch.

While I was staring at the outfit in awe, Taylor walked.

"Since we don't know where you're going, I wanted to give you something casual but formal at the same time. I thought the red would look nice with your skin tone," she said with a smile.

Before she could even comprehend what happened, I had already ran up and gave her the biggest hug she would ever receive.

At exactly 8 on the dot, a knock was heard at the front door.

When I opened the door, I couldn't help but notice the bulging of Chase's eyes as soon as he saw me.

(Don't think dirty ;) Lol )

"Wow,ummm, I mean, um, Wow you look amazing!" Chase said as I laughed

"Oh, ummm, I mean, um, Thanks." I said mocking him.

"Ha ha, very funny," he said

"Are you ready to go?" Chase asked.

"Whenever you are I said as I grabbed my bag, and followed him out the door.

The drive to diner, was not as quiet as expected. Chase made sure to keep the radio on, and somehow we ended up having a karaoke battle in the car!!

" I totally won that!!" Chase said as we walked into the restaurant.

"What?!? No way!! I was the obvious winner in that battle!"
