"Hey, how was it? Busy?" I heard Alice's cheerful voice call as I entered the house.
"Uh, yeah, I guess," I replied. "Really different from our old place."
Truth be told, I wasn't really thinking of the trip in the city itself, but the people there.
Well.. more like a particular person.
It's not like I was attracted to him or anything, but really I couldn't get the stranger on the train out of my head.
Wasn't Pyro his name or something?
"So, want to go to the theatre this evening?" Alice conveniently asked.
"Hell yes," I replied. "It'll probably take my mind off a few things."After arriving at the movie place, I walked up to the popcorn station and got some myself, and took it to the counter.
"That'll be 10 dollars, with the ticket included." The lady at the stand said, with her hand out in expectancy. I drew up 10 dollars and paid for the tickets and popcorn, and strolled towards the actual room itself. I opened the large doors and entered, before spying Alice waving me down. "Ooh you are close," she giggled. "Almost missed the movie!"
To be fair, I didn't really see the movie because I was too busy snoring away in my chair. Afterwards though, I woke myself up by snorting. I opened my eyes and looked around to find no-one there.
"Crap. She's left me." I groaned to myself, and stepped out of my seat. Suddenly, the door creaked and a familiar face came into view. Except it wasn't Alice, it was Pyro. He seemed quite surprised to see me.
"Hello again, Spikey." He greeted politely.
I nodded in return, and signalled for him to sit next to me.
"So, what are you doing here?" I asked curiously.
"To be honest, I have no clue."
"Same."
Suddenly, I heard a faint scream, some running and more screaming. Pyro immediately shot out of his chair, and bolted for the exit, me following close behind him.
