BEEP BEEP BEEP
"Ayano! Wake up! You're going to be late for school!" I groaned as I rolled out of bed and turned off my alarm clock. It didn't help that my mom was telling me to get up, either. I stretched and got into my new uniform. I looked in the mirror.
"Huh. Not half bad." I was pleased. I expected it to look really ugly. I brushed my teeth and my hair, and went out.
"Morning sweetie!" my mom was rushing around the kitchen, making me breakfast and lunch. She also seemed to be getting snacks ready for the plane. My parents were going to be gone for 3 years, leaving me alone.
"Hi mom." I sat down at the table as she brought over toast. "Thanks."
"Of course, honey!" She smiled and brought their suitcases to the front door and she brought my school bag next to me. "Your father and I will miss you!"
"Me too. Have a safe trip!" They hugged me and went out the door to their car, and drove to the airport. I sighed.
*time skip*
I slowly walked onto the campus and saw the sign for the school: "Akademi Highschool". 'How did the years pass so quickly...' I thought to myself. Other students were walking around, playing football, gossiping, everything teenagers do. There were some giggles behind me, so I turned as saw two girls, one of them was blushing the other was just smiling. They were both looking somewhere. Looking that way, I saw a boy with dark hair, and he looked like a loner. 'Why is he so special?' I stared at the ground, then back at the girls. One of them, the one blushing, had purple hair with tornado shaped pigtails. The other girl had cyan hair with two flowing pigtails. I slowed my walk so they went ahead of me, and I could hear their conversation.
"Are you going to talk to him?"
"No way Saki! I'm too nervous... He's so cute! I can't just walk up and talk to him! I'll faint! I'd SO be embarrassed... I can't just talk to my Senpa-! Umm... Saki?" the purple haired girl started to whisper to cyan girl, who I guessed was Saki.
"What?" Saki turned her head to purple haired girl.
"Is that girl behind us staring at us?!" they both turned to look at me.
