In the Night Part 1

Roy's POV
Fullmetal has been sneaking out at night a lot lately. I don't know what he's been doing. Every time I ask he never answers. He either tells me it personal, it none of my business, or he just ignores me. I've been getting a bit worried and everyday I am always curious. What could he possibly be doing so late at night?

All alone she was living

One day when I was at work, Havoc came up to me and told me that later tonight he had to show me something. It was strange because Havoc added a comment after that. He added, more like... Someone. That made me very curious. I got home and Fullmetal was waiting for me by the door. "Hey Roy! So glad you're home." He said as he hugged me. I hugged him back and gave him a kiss on the forehead. "I'm glad I'm home too. Hey I have to tell you something." I told him. "What is it?" He asked. "I'll be out tonight, Havic told me he had to show me something." I replied. "Oh. Okay." He said.

In a world without an end or beginning

I headed for my room and changed out of my uniform. I changed into a black shirt and some jeans that had a few holes in them. I hang out in my room until it was about midnight. Fullmetal was already out of the house. He snuck out again. I tried staying awake. I was close to passing out until I heard a knock on my door. It must've been Havoc.

Baby girl was living life for the feeling

I answered the door while grabbing my jacket. "You ready to go chief?" He asked.

But I don't mind, I don't mind

"Yeah I'm ready." I replied. We walked around the town. I was following Havoc's lead since I didn't know where we were going. We stopped in front of a metal door. There was a sign hanging above it. It read, "Strip Club for Men." I had pure shock on my face. "Havoc! Why are you taking me to a strip club?! I already have someone in my life! I don't need to see other women, half naked, dancing on poles! Why are we here?!" I shouted. "You'll find out soon boss." He said to me.

And all the wrongs she committed

We entered the room. I was shielding my eyes so that I didn't have to look at the girls that were doing those things.

She was numb and she was so codependent

Havoc led me around the room. The music was blasting through the walls, there were so many people. I couldn't focus my mind on anything. Why did Havoc bring me here? What did he have to show me? More like who?

She was young and all she had was the city

I kept following him. We stopped at a certain area where poles stood. We sat down. "We have to wait for the special person to come out."

But I don't mind, I don't mind

Then the time came. They let out the girls that were going to entertain us. There was a crowd of people here. They must've had a favorite.

And I know that she's capable of anything, it's riveting

Then pure shock comes to my face when I see one of them. They had a familiar look to them. They had blonde hair, and golden eyes. It couldn't have been... No. I couldn't be...

But when you wake up she's always gone...

...it was.

There he stood. It was him. It was Ed.

...gone

After that I was speechless. All my questions have been answered. I wish they weren't. Ed was then called back by a man. He sounded familiar. I got a glimpse of him when Ed was being called back. He also stood in the audience. Ed looked sad when he got called back. Who was he?

In the night she hears him calling

After what seemed like hours, Ed came back out. I headed towards him, leaving Havoc to look at the ladies who were pleasing him. That fool. Ed turned to see me. He gasped. "Uh, Roy! What are you doing here?!" He asked. I couldn't speak. I was so distracted by his outfit. He wore women's lingerie and stripper boots. "Ed. Why?" I asked. "Why what?" He asked. "Why are you here? Why are you working at a strip club?! Is this where you've been sneaking out at night to do?! Because Edward, I swear to God if you are-" I was interrupted. "I'm doing this for a reason! I just... Can't say..." I was mad. "Who made you do this?" I asked him. "No one! What if I just wanted to do this for fun?" He said. "Bullshit! Why would you do this? How is this fun for you?" I asked. "I'm doing this to get rid of my pain..." He said quietly.

In the night she's dancing to relieve the pain

"What?" I asked. "Nothing. I have to go now." He said heading for another room. "Ed wait!" I screamed. He looked back at me. "What Roy?" He asked. "Just leave this place. Please. I don't like seeing you in a place like this." He looked away. "I can't." Then he left.

She'll never walk away

I couldn't wrap my head around it. Why? Why does he need to get rid of pain like that? What pain is he talking about? Who is that man? What is he doing to him? Just when I thought all my questions were answered, there are more. I decided to investigate.

I don't think you understand

When I was about to investigate I see Ed run out the room. Everyone saw him come out. They started throwing dollar bills at him as he ran away from that room. He was crying. What did he do to him?

In the night when she comes crawling, dollar bills and tears keep falling down her face

He stays in the club, he just runs to a different room. I wanted to talk to him, but I doubt he'd want to talk to me.

She'll never walk away

I went home. I couldn't believe I was saying this, but I have to go back tomorrow so that I could check out who that man was, and what he was doing to my precious Edward.

Yep. That just happened. Don't worry, I'll continue it. It's just that this was so long and I don't want this story to be 3,000+ words just for one song. 1,000 sounds decent enough. I am really enjoying this. I really like writing this story. I'm having so much fun thinking about what will happen. Also, sorry if the lyrics are saying that Ed is a "she," it's just the original lyrics and I don't want to change them. If you have a problem with the lyrics then I'm sorry. I'll find another song where I don't have the lyrics referring Edward or any other male character as a girl. That's it! See you in the next chapter!
