Morning came sooner than I want. Part of me wished morning would never come, which means the meeting with Jack will not have to happen. Or the dinner with parents.

"You wanna run away?" Harry asked.

"Don't tempt me." I say into my pillow.

I close my eyes, wanting sleep to take me back. Back to my safe zone.

Our phones beeped at the same time. Informing us that it was time to face the world.

"Can't we just stay here?" I asked; eyes still shut.

"Don't tempt me!" With that, I felt him softly kiss my head before getting up.

An hour later we waiting outside Jack's door. Neither of us wanted to knock.

"You knock." I told Harry.

"What, why can't you?"

"Because I really don't want to."

"That's a lame excuse."

"I know." I said and knocked.

My hand was locked in his. I'm nervous. A mini rollercoaster is spreading around my stomach and I wasn't sure how much longer it could hold it in.

Jack opened the door.

"Jack." Harry said.

"Harry. Good. Come in." He didn't say anything to me.

"I was up all night, this is what a going to happen. You," he points at me, "are going to take classes at South California College. We'll set it up where you can be there but still leave when you need to do press stuff."

"But I already have a college..."

"You should've stuck to the original plan them."

"Do you think I planned this?" I asked.

Jack wouldn't answer me but moved on.

"Harry for you, basically you stay the same. But keep the social media stuff low, and interviews are low key too."

Harry and I didn't say anything.

"if all goes plan it should blow over in just a few months. As long as you don't do anything crazy. Can you just handle this?"

I refused to answer if, I wasn't a kid. I knew how to take care of thing and how not to act like a five-year-old.

"So, no tweeting, posting things. Only if it's for or about the press. Sharing about the band. Do you understand?" Jack was talking to me. But again, I wouldn't answer him.

"Riley, are you listening?" Jack asked.

I rolled my eyes, "Yes, but stop talking to me like I'm five."

"After what you two did..."

"Is that all Jack? Keep things low key?" Harry cut in.

"Mainly..."

"Then we're leaving."

"Harry." Jack's threatening voice sent chills down my spine.

"E-mail it to us."

Harry lead us back to his room.

"That was a fast meeting." I said.

"He has more to say, I just didn't want to listen to it."

"Harry?" Turning he looked at me.

"Listen, we aren't going to worry about any of this now. We have dinner with our parents tonight so, no stress until then. Deal?"

"Deal!"

We spent the day in his room, not wanting to deal with people.

"Are you ready for tomorrow's show?" I ask as I looked over the college I would now be going to. It's alright but it doesn't have my field. But I can always change to a college that does later.

"I love playing live but not sure how the fans will react to everything."

"Mixed fillings."

He came up behind me, "Sorry about the college thing." His hand rubbed my arm.

"It sucks but I can always switch later."

He kissed my cheek. His phone buzzed. He let out a breath.

"Yes, Jack?"

"What? No, I..."

"But she's hasn't..."

"Fine, but this is the only one."

"Bye."

I looked at him. He shuffled his hair.

"Tomorrow we have an interview."

We? As in me and him.

"As in?" I point to him and then at myself.

"Yes."

"But."

"This is the only one, I promise." He said.

"Fine, but I'm doing this for you. Not Jack, for you."

He pulls me out of my chair, into a hug.

"You are amazing." I wrap my arms around his neck and wish that I'll make it through all of this.

We couldn't put off dinner. Seeing as tomorrow is their show, then we hit the road again. I spend two more weeks with the band before I start college. Truth? I was looking forward to going. But to the college I wanted. I haven't even told my parents that I'm switching.

Slipping on my black boots I turn to see Harry watching me. I bit my lip.

"You look nice."

"Thank you, not to bad yourself." I said, walking over and undid the tie he had on.

"That's more you." I added, he smiled.

"Ready?" He asked.

"No, but let's get this done."

He looped his hand with mine. He gave it a little squeeze, ensuring me we are in this together.
