Lauren's POV:

I'm here in Argentina with the girls on the 7/27 world tour and we are out for dinner for my birthday. This is the first time that I've been away from my family and Y/N. Y/N is my girlfriend of 2 years and I can't see her until we do Australian promo. We have all the team and some of the parents here as well. I see some fans at a table that are trying to get my attention. I excuse myself and walk of to them.

"Hey guys, how are you?" They aren't saying anything, most likely in shock.

"Happy cake day Lauren," one little girl says.

"Thank you sweetie. What's your name?"

"My names Ciara,"

"Well Ciara how about I sign something for you and your friends?" she nods and I sign a few napkins before Camz called me over for cake.

"I have to go girls but wait outside the hotel and I'll come out tonight okay?" They nodded and I hugged each of them before going back over to the crew and the girls.

Everyone started singing happy birthday and a waiter brought over a birthday cake and gave it to me. I have never smiled so much in my life. I blow out the candles and felt my phone buzzing. I look at it and its Y/N. I excuse myself again and go outside to talk.

"Baby happy birthday!!" She says yelling.

"Thank you babe. It would be happy if you were here," I say looking down at my shoes and kicking small rocks on the ground.

"Laur I'm so sorry that I couldn't make it. My parents are- you know what it doesn't matter. What are you doing?" Hm I wonder what she was about to say.

"I'm out for dinner with the girls and the crew but we are just having cake and going back to the hotel"

"I'm um sorry I interrupted babe. Call me later?"

"No babe wait it's fine, honestly. Now what has been going on?"

She sniffled and I turn it into FaceTime. Her eyes are puffy and red and she looks, tired.

"Nothing princess, don't worry about me. Go and enjoy your birthday with the girls and the crew and I'll call you later okay? I love you," and with that she ended the call.

I stand outside and I hear someone call my name. I turn around and see Mani walking up to me.

"What's wrong Lolo? Everyone's celebrating your birthday without you,"

"I-I don't know Mani. Y/N called and I put it on FaceTime and she looked like she's been crying. I asked what's wrong and she said nothing and she'll call me later," I hugged Mani tightly and I felt tears roll out of my eyes.

"Maybe when she calls you she'll explain everything"

"I guess so Mani. Do you know if we are leaving soon? I kinda wanna curl up and sleep. Let's say I'm not feeling well and we can all leave" Mani laughs and we go inside.

Back in the hotel room I cuddle up to my Nala plush that a fan got for me. I close my phone and close my eyes. I hear my phone ring and I jump and answer it.

"Hello?" I say groggily.

"Hi babe," Y/N said whispering.

"Why are you whispering?"

"Because Spencer (little sister) is asleep and I didn't want to wake her. I want to apologize for before baby. I'm so sorry that you had to see me like that," Y/N said as she sniffled.

"It's okay princess. Just tell me what's been going on because there is something, I can tell," I say sitting up against the headboard.

"I just miss you a lot Lolo. I cry literally every night because you aren't here. I need to see you," I can hear the pain in her voice.
