It was finally the day I started my first job. It wasn't very intriguing, actually it was a terrible job. But the woman had payed me, almost too much money to show up for the first day. I was meant to be her son's companion, whatever that meant. The old woman had told me her son didn't have many friends, or any at all. I felt a bit sad for her, she seemed like the nicest woman so I couldn't say no.
I was only planning on being here for a few months just to make enough money to start things off for my life. She paid me in advance to reward myself (for nothing) to get much newer and expensive-looking clothing, I don't see why. Why should the little kid care what I look like ? I did as I was told though.
I'm currently walking up the steps to the biggest house ever. I mean, I should've expected it, she probably has money coming out of her asscrack.
I knocked on the door three times, boy it sure did take a while for her to open the door. Soon enough, I had seen the old woman in her little pink hat and a furry coat. She smiled and said, "Heather! Welcome, come in." I greeted her and walked in. A woman came out of the kitchen, probably another one of the workers here.
"Hi I'm Dora," She greeted me and I introduced myself as Gloria ran off to get her son.
"What should I expect, is this kid a brat?" I whispered, following Dora as she showed me to my room. We got to the door and she opened it, I set my things down.
"Has she not told you?" Dora chuckled, I gave a questioning look. As I was about to speak, she walked off laughing. Is the kid that bad? I sat on the soft King sized bed's Satin comforter. Right when I had felt slightly comfortable, Gloria had called me into the Parlor. I had gotten up, once again feeling sore from wearing the heels I had on all day.
As I walked into the parlor, Gloria smiled sweetly and told me Dandy would be down any second. I thought, who the hell would name their kid Dandy?
"Any second" turned into five minutes. Until I heard footsteps from the staircase. And there he was.
Nothing that I could've imagined.
