Gloria

Gloria ran out the sliding doors to the backyard of Marc’s house and started walking into the woods.  She couldn’t get the images out her head, the pictures of Randy’s lips parted, eyes closed, and head tilted back in pleasure as he touched her.  Pure hate rose up inside Gloria.  She wanted to kill Randy.  Gloria was so jealous and for no reason, it’s not like they were dating, for goodness sake Gloria had a boyfriend! But she just couldn’t help her uncontrollable rage.  This was crazy how high her emotions were right now.  She had barely been able to stop herself from slapping Randy when they had just been flirting, but when she had walked in on that she had to use every inch of her self-control to not strangle her right there.

Ever since what had happened earlier that day she just couldn’t control herself and emotions.  As she kept walking and breathing in the fresh air she kept going over what she had saw.  Would he have been so into it if she had been the one he was kissing instead of Randy?  How did it feel to have his hands all over your body?  What did his lips taste like? How far would they have gone if she hadn’t have walked in?  Were they still making out now?  Gloria couldn’t get these kinds of thoughts out of her head, and it was driving her into hysterics.  She suddenly had this overwhelming want to be in Randy’s place, to have Noel doing that to her.  She suddenly was walking back to the house with one thought: to find Noel.

As she walked through the doors she was bombarded with thoughts of Ryan.  How could she do this to Ryan?  How could she have those kinds of thoughts about anyone else besides Ryan?  She forced herself to change her course and look for Ryan. She had to try with him to see if she could have the same feelings for Ryan.  She looked all through the house and finally found him in the TV room watching a football game with his friends.

“Ryan?”  She said and he turned to look at her. “Will you take me home now?”

“Yeah, sure.”  He clapped hands with a few guys said bye and was by her side in a minute.  He was so good to her.  “My car’s a ways away you want to walk or do u want me to pick u up in front of the house?” He asked.  Gloria just couldn’t stand the chance of possibly seeing Randy or Noel again so she said she would walk.  As they walked down the street Gloria was silent.  She slipped her heels of and carried them while she walked barefoot, feeling the little rocks and twigs press into her feet.  She stared at the ground trying to make up her mind if she wanted to do this or not.  She decided she did.

“Ryan are your parents home?”  She said not looking up.

“Uh, no?” He said and Gloria could feel his eyes on her.

“I want to go home with you, to your house.”

“Oh, ok.”  He said.  Gloria could hear that he was smiling in his voice.

Gloria pushed open the front door to Ryan's house and took a big breath.  She turned to Ryan and told herself that she was just confused and she really had all those feelings she had been feeling for Ryan not Noel.  I guess I’ll find that out if that’s true she thought and she grabbed Ryan by the waist of his jeans and pulled him into the den.  She pulled him in front of the massive couch and pushed him down onto it.  She knew he preferred it a little rough.  She was on top of him then and she leaned in and started kissing him.  She made her way down to his collarbone and realized she wasn’t feeling anything.  She decided to try harder.  She started to give him a hickey and she heard him groan a little.  She felt his hand under her bra and she just wasn’t feeling any lust at all.  Thoughts of Noel fogged her brain.  She was starting to get frustrated so she decided to try even harder.  She lightly traced her tongue along his jaw and that sent him over the edge.  He flipped her over and was on top of her undoing the button on her jeans and then pulling them off along with her underwear.  She undid his belt and pulled his shirt off.  He groaned and she arched her back just like she knew he liked.  She faked.  When he was done he laid next to her and fell asleep fast.  She just laid there staring at the ceiling.  She had felt nothing.

PART 2

Gloria

Gloria looked at the clock.  Six a.m. Perfect.  She looked at Ryan next to her to make sure he was still sleeping and jumped over the back of the couch as quietly as possible.  She stopped to think.  When did I become so athletic? She thought.  She wiped the thought out and tip toed out of the room and down the hall to the front door.  She slowly opened it, glanced back to where she had left Ryan sleeping alone, and walked out.  She shut the door quietly and walked down the driveway to the sidewalk.  She had no way other than walking home because she had ridden with Ryan.

Ryan. She practically wanted to hit herself for what she was going to do.  She had to find out what this thing she felt for Noel was.  She needed to see why he consumed her thoughts.  As she walked she planned.  The plan was to break it off with Ryan and try things with Noel… if only Randy hadn’t practically sucked his face off at the party last night.  Noel and Randy were probably an item now!  Gloria’s insides clenched as the images she had seen when she walked in on them flashed through her mind.  Every fabric of her being went into competition mode.  Gloria had always been a competitive person, ever since she was a little girl, but this felt different.  She felt heightened.

Then she realized the sensitivity her eyes were having to the rising sun.  She pulled her sunglasses out of her bag and slapped them on her face.  Then she felt her heart race.  It seemed like she was coursing with electricity.  A little crackle waved over her skin.  She clenched her fist as she thought of Randy again and she heard shattering.  She looked next to her at the car sitting by the curb.  Every window on the car was shattered, even the mirrors where cracked.  Gloria raised her hand as she noticed a feeling like her palms had been cut up by glass.  There were no cuts, but she felt blood dripping and felt the searing pain.

Once she finally reached her house the feeling was still pulsing through her.  She ran through the front door and to her room.  She raced into her bathroom and shut the door. She needed a shower that would calm her down.  She slid her sunglasses of and immediately wished she hadn’t.  Her pupils covered the colored part of her eyes all the way to the white part.  She let out a shriek and slammed her eyes closed.  She took deep long breaths.  10 breaths later she slowly opened her eyes they were back to normal.  She noticed the crackling feeling was gone and she no longer wanted to rip Randy’s head off.

She backed up and dropped onto the toilet and sighed.  I'm crazy… Gloria thought.  She stood up and turned the shower on.  She stripped down to her underwear then went into her room to grab her iPod.  When she opened the door she walked to her desk and grabbed it off the iHome.  As she was walking back into the bathroom she passed the mirror and something caught her eye.  On her back there was a huge twirling and looping mark.  It stretched across from one shoulder blade to the other and was a deep purple color.  She ran to get the wash cloth out of the shower planning to try to wash it off.  When she got back to the mirror she turned to see the mark it was glowing, almost reflecting light.  The mark faded away.  Hadn’t she seen this before?
