My name is Maya ,I was born around the time spirits roamed the earth. Well that's what my mom said I am not really sure. She told me that the spirits possessed the body of people and made them do unnecessary things they will never do.She also told me that she was possessed by a spirit blah blah blah.I did not believe anything she said.It was a fairy tale to me.
As I grew older, I could see forms at night they were always floating on air . I heard voices it filled my head it was around me. I thought it was all my imagination.It went on like this for almost all my nights. On the night before my 16th birthday , it was different , the forms were so many they floated right above me ,the voices were louder and faster they were chanting, I felt like I have heard it before, it was calling, me drawing me too something I knew was going to be devastating. Something moved through my body the pain was unbearable I tried screaming for help but no sound came out.Then everything stopped suddenly, a face appeared in front of me it was ugly, were the eyes, nose, and mouth were supposed to be was dark and hollow and it possessed me and then I woke up.It was all a dream.
It was the evening of my sixteenth birthday and I was getting ready. It was going to be the talk of the school for like a whole generation I guess. Everything you'd think of was present at the party.I never knew it was going to take another turn and change my life forever.
It was getting to 7:00, my birthday was going to start.My family were all present.It was going to be a memorable day for me.
