The party was going well suddenly there was a loud screech, the window panes shattered the light bulbs broke we were in total darkness. then there was an illumination from somewhere a natural light no one had an idea where it was coming from it shone brighter and brighter and it stopped. I felt something move by my side that was when we could see them . Everyone was scared, no one moved no one even dared to breathe. I wondered why they were so scared. It was a normal thing for me, I see them every night. That was when it hit me that I was the only one who has seen them and that what I saw at night were real and all what my mother told me was true.
They were so many of them in the room they filled every free space in the living room. Then they disappeared, all of them and everything went back to normal as if nothing had just happened. No one looked scared or nervous except my mom and dad it thought they were all just faking it. My mom grabbed my hand and kept on holding it tight as if I was going to get kidnapped or stolen away from her. My dad was behind us looking very nervous. I searched the room for my brothers and sister , they were all chatting happily with themselves.
My mom pulled me up the stairs and into my room, my dad followed behind he locked the door.
'Sit down' he said
'This isn't good' I thought.
He never tells me to sit while talking to me except it is a serious issue. With the look on his face and his command, I was very nervous. I looked at my mother her eyes welled up with tears but she gave me what I think should be a reassuring smile but came out very weak.
'Is there any problem mom' I asked.
