•Nervousness•

"Becca, when are you going to start getting ready?", Lisa said in stern voice while curling her hair.

"Lisa, we still have an hour before the prom starts, It hardly take fifteen minutes to put on a dress and wear heels," I said in a bored tone while putting my head into the pillow and curling up in my blanket again.

           I have been waiting for the prom, I have been thinking about how I would dress, how I would look, but today I felt really nervous.

           It has been a week since Evan asked me out, and it has been an amazing week, and today, for the first time, the whole school will know that we are in a relationship , when we will go to the prom together. And this makes me really nervous.

          "Becca, is that all you are going to do?" Lisa said snatching my blanket away.

"Urgghh.. Lisaa.. give me the blanket back!" I said and sat upright.

"Becca, you think I don't know what is going on in your little head right now?" Lisa said folding her hands against her chest.

"What? What are you talking about?" I said and looked away.

"Becca? You are nervous, right?"

"No.. of course not.. why would I be nervous?" I said getting up from the bed.

"Becca??" Lisa said in stern voice raising her brows at me.

"Okay fine. Yes I am nervous." I sighed and sat on the bed again.

Lisa walked towards me and took a seat beside me on the bed.

"Lisa, I am scared, what if I don't look beautiful? Evan is so handsome, I swear I was so annoyed when last week, there were so many girls who coming up to Evan and asking him to be their date for the prom. They were all so sexy and look at me."

"And what did Evan say to them when they asked him out?"

"Of course, he denied." I rolled my eyes.

"See? He denied. If he wanted to go with only a hot girl, he would have chosen any bimbo out of them. That's not what he wants. He loves you, and he wants to go with you. Now stop being a cry baby and get up, I am going to do some magic on you."

She dragged me in front of the mirror.

"Becca, you may not be the hottest girl, you may not be the sexiest , but you are beautiful, inside and outside. And that's what he loves about you."

I nodded nervously at her.

She looked at me from up to down.

"What are you thinking?" I asked and raised my brow in confusion.

"What were you going to wear for the prom?"

"This," I said holding up a dark green dress in front of her. It had full sleeves and boat neck and it ended right above my knees. It was one of the dresses that was lying in my wardrobe but I had never tried.
