Chapter 8

I returned to Ben's place two hours later. I wore my denim shorts and pink v-necked top and completed it with my flats. I swear the heels I wore yesterday killed me. I blow dried my hair left them open, I think my hair was still damp.

"Hey, I am back.", I said when I entered the room and placed my bag on the table beside the door.

I packed some extra clothes with me in my bag because Lisa was planning a night out today as well.

Everyone was already there in the living room watching TV. I think I took a lot of time. But its not my fault that the Cab had a falt ture and I had to wait for another cab.

Reed was sitting together on the couch and Caleb was lying on the couch with his head in Reed's lap.

Ben and Lisa were sitting on the mattress that they had sprawled on the floor, with the support of the couch.

I searched for Evan.

Where was he?

"Heyy Becs. We were just waiting for you. What took you so long?", Reed asked.

"Don't even ask!", I sighed.

"Becca loves making people wait you know. Badass Becs. You are learning.", Caleb said and Ben laughed.

"Shut up Caleb.", I rolled my eyes.

"You know you are badass Becca. Accept it.", Caleb chuckled.

"Shut up you guys.", Lisa warned.

"Whatever. Where's Evan?", I asked.

"Oh, he went to the kitchen to get all of us something to drink.", Lisa said.

"Oh.."

"Come sit. We are watching a horror movie today.", Lisa said patting the place beside her.

"But I hate horrow movies."

"That's because you are shit scared of them.", Caleb said.

"No I am not. They are just boring.", I said.

The truth is that I am shit scared of ghost and horror movies.

"Don't lie Becca. Accept it.", Caleb saidn.

"Whatever.", I said and sat down beside her.

"Guys. Here you go.", I heard Evan as he came out of the kitchen with some coke cans in his hands.

I almost laughed at how he was holding all the cans and balancing them. He was not wearing the same t-shirt from morning, guess he had bath as well. He looked really fresh.

I instantly waved at him and grinned when our eyes met.

But.. he didn't return the smile back. He pretended to just have not notice it.

He passed the cans to Reed and Ben and sat down beside me. It was the only spot vacant.

"Hie.", I said and smiled at him again.

"I am mad at you.", he huffed.

I giggled at his childish response.

"Wow, that was easy. I know smart ass that you are mad, but why?", I chucked.

"Because you are heartless.", he said.

"Why Exactly?", I giggled.

"Stop giggling. This is serious. I am mad at you.", he huffed again.

"Okay okay. Right. Mr. Harrison, please enlighten me with the reason behind you being mad at me right now."

"Because you left.", he said and narrowed his eyes.

He was nad at me because I left?

No matter how childish this conversation sounded, no matter how stupid we were being, no matter how stupid the reason was, but still brought a huge smile on my face. I was interrupted by the Evan shaking my shoulder.

"Why are you smiling at me like that? That's creepy.", Evan said.

I slapped his hand.

"Okay okay. Sorry. But why did you leave? I told you I'll drop you home.", Evan whinned.

"Because you were sleeping Evan.", I said.

"But you could wake me up.", he said.

"I didn't want to. You were tired. You needed sleep and I could manage going home alone so I decided to let you sleep."

He took my hand into his and gave it a little squeeze.

"But I wanted to spend more time with you.", he said and pouted.

Can he get any cuter?

"Sleeping is important.", I said and animatedly nodded my head.

"Nothing is more important than you.", he said and kissed my cheek.

"Soooo cheesy.", I said and laughed.

"My girlfriend likes it.", he winked.

"You are very bad at it.", I said sticking my tongue out.

"But I am still mad at you. You better make it up to me.", he said raising his brow.

"And how exactly do you want me to make it upto to you?", I asked.

"Guys? Hushh.. the movie is about ro start.", Ben said from beside us.

Evan leaned closer to my ear and said, "This conversation isn't over yet.", and winked at me giving me his million dollar smile.

Did I ever mention that Evan was Evil?
