Chapter 10

"I have a plan."

"What plan?" I asked in confusion.

"Go wait outside the house, I'll be right there in a minute or two." He said gesturing me to go outside the house.

"Where are you going? And why should wait ourside? Oh wait! Where are we going?" I asked him.

"We are going out," he announced with a smile on his face.

"But why?"

"Because I want to spend time with you. And not waste time on some shitty horror movie that you aren't even enjoying," he told me.

"But all our friends are here."

"So?" He said matter-of factly.

"Don't you wanna spend time with them?" I asked him.

"Who cares? I have seen that movie 5 times already Becca!" He shrugged.

"But you haven't seen it with them," I told him.

"I dont care."

"But I do. I want to spend time with friends."

"You didn't even want to watch the movie," he frowned.

"It's not about the movie Evan. They won't like it if we leave like this," I pouted.

"But-" he started but I interrupted.

"Evan I think we should hangout with them," I announced.

"But I want to spend some alone time with you," he said taking a step in my direction and wrapping his hands around my waist.

"We always spend so much time together. It's not everyday that we all get time to hangout together," I told him.

"So you don't want to go out?" He said pulling away.

"Evan?"

"Forget it," he said taking a step away and loked away 

"Evan come on don't be mad at me for this now," I said taking a step in his direction.

"I am not mad at you," he said walking towards the basin from where I'd got the napkin.

"You clearly are," I said.

"I am not," he said keeping the wet napking on the kitchen platform. 

"Evan?"

He didnt respond.

He started walking outside the kitchen.

I followed him.

"Evan wait," I said grabbing his hand from behind.

"What?" He turned around in a bored tone.

"Why are you doing this?"

"What am I doing? I am just spending time with my friends. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go. My friends are waiting," he said taking his hand out of my hold.

"You are being a baby," I said.

"Whatever!" He said rolling his eyes at me and started to walk inside the living room.

"Okay fine! You want to be mad at me for something this stupid, go ahead. I don't want to talk either!" I said from behind him.

He didn't say anything and just walked out.

"Hey, where were you guys?" I heard Ben ask Evan.

Evan didn't answer him.

He went and sat on the couch and not where were sitting previously.

I sighed.

"Uh.. we were in the kitchen to eat something," I answered.

"Eat something or eat each other," Caleb snickered and everyone else chuckled.

"Guys you know that's my kitchen, you are not allowed to make out there," Ben said.

Evan rolled his eyes at him.

I grabbed a pillow and threw it at Ben.

"So was it fun? Ben we should try it too," Lisa said and Ben turned the deep shade of red.

"Aww.. look at Ben.. so cute!" I heard Reed say.

"I am not cute!" Ben said.

"Caleb why can't you be like Ben?" Reed said hittimg Caleb on his arm.

"Babe, just come with me to the kitchen, I'll show you what I can be!" He winked.

"Yuck!" Reed slapped him.

"Not. My. Kitchen." Ben said.

They all laughed and I looked at Evan and caught him looking at me. He looked away as soon as he noticed.

"Guys, can we watch the movie now?" Evan announced grabbing everyone's attention.

"What's got up your ass Evan?"

"Nothing. I juat want to watch the movie. Now can you all shut up?"

Everyone looked at me.

I shrugged.

Eventually everyone started to watch the movie again.

I looked at Evan multiple times but he was busy being mad at me and watching the stupid horror movie.

I tried my best to not see or hear the horror scenes of the movie but failed. So I decided to close my eyes with my hands for the whole movie.

If I don't see anything, I won't be scared at all. Right?

After sometime, I heard the sound of movie die.

Did they apuse the movie?

I opened my eyes and looked at the screen.

The TV was shut.

"Thank god you guys shut the movie," I said amd looked around me.

There was no one in the room.

Where did these guys go?

The lights of the room were still off and I didn't find anyone in the room.

I was frankly a little scared. Where are they?
