Jongin's POV

"Alright, bye!" Yeonhee waved me goodbye before she walked to her house and went inside. I waved back and drove off when she was completely out of sight. I turned on the radio and started humming along with some of the songs, while tapping my fingers against the steering wheel. I drove past the dance studios again and saw a girl waiting at the bus stop. When I came closer I saw it was Jasmine. Why would she wait for the bus? Didn't Taemin drive her home? I stopped in front of her and rolled my window down.

"Hey, get in the car, I'll drive you home." She looked surprised to see me and did as I said. She opened the door and stepped inside. I closed the window again and drove off. I looked at her and saw that her eyes were red and puffy. It looked like she had cried.

"Where's Taemin?" I asked her. She turned her head to look at me but looked back on the road in just a second.

"He had to go home earlier. I don't know why." A part of me thought she was lying. I wonder if she had actually cried or that she's just tired.

"Are you tired?" I asked her.

"No, why?"

"Your eyes are red." She glanced in the mirror and rubbed her eyes.

"Oh, yeah. I'm a little tired." Now I knew she was lying. You see, I've known Jasmine for so long now, I know when she's lying and when she's not. Right now, she's definitely lying. I thought it would be best to not ask any further. If she wanted to tell me, she would have done it already.

"So how was your date with Yeonhee?" Jasmine asked me and turned to look my way.

"It wasn't a date," I laughed, "we just had some coffee together and talked. It was nice though. She's cool."

"I think she likes you. She was really excited about the date, which is actually not a date apparently, and wouldn't stop talking about it."

"Really?" I looked at her for a second before looking back at the road.

"Mhm, it was kind of annoying but somehow cute," Jasmine said. I didn't how to feel about Yeonhee liking me. Of course, she's a nice girl, but I didn't think I could see her in that way. I still had feelings for Jasmine and it felt like they weren't going away any time soon. Sometimes I wish they did, it would make things so much easier. It wouldn't hurt me to see her with Taemin. I should be supportive of their relationship though. After all, they are my best friends.

"How was your day with Taemin?" I decided to ask her.

"Oh, uh, it was nice. We were at the dance studios. He just practiced some more, but it was fun." She seemed hesitant about her answer and I didn't quite believe her. Usually she would be bright and happy if she told me about her day. She wouldn't leave out any details and she would smile more. Right now, it looked like she didn't even want to tell me about it. I took a quick glance at her and saw she was looking down at her lap, playing with her fingers. She looked upset. Maybe she just needed some distraction.

"Hey, how about you go home and ask your parents if you can stay the night at our house? I could text my mom to say that you're joining us for dinner and I'm sure she'll be okay with it." She turned her head to face me and smiled.

"Yeah, that's a good idea."

When we arrived at her house we both went inside and tried to find one of her parents. When we walked upstairs we found her mom changing her bed sheets and walked up to her.
