Cronas POV

I'm not surprised this happened at all. I just kinda hoped that it wouldn't.

"What the hell do you think you're doing to my man?" A familiar voice angrily asked.
I took a closer look and it was kid. My dear kid.
He kicked my attacker off of me. And held him against the wall.
I closed my eyes because I knew what was coming next.
The sounds of pain as Kid beat him made me cry.
I know he deserved it but those sounds remind me of when I was locked in the dark half my life.
Soon after Kid heard me sniffling and stopped.
He picked me up bridal style. I stuffed my face in his chest so he wouldn't see my teary face. Before we left he spit on the two attackers and said,"This is the price you pay for laying hands on him." And we walked away.
"I'm sorry kid." I whispered.
"Don't be sorry. I'm the one who should apologize. I should've showed you more love and affection and not make you feel so left out." He smiled at me.
"But Kid I-" I was quickly cut off by a pair of lips on mine. I gasped and he took the opportunity to sneak his tongue in. His tongue wrestled with mine. My face was flushed pink. Little pants escaped my mouth which made it even worse. I broke off the kiss because I was running out of breath.
Kid looked at me with sad eyes but smirked after he saw my flushed face.
"It looks like you were enjoying that." He teased.
I have him a slight punch to the arm and jumped out of his arms to walk.
"Ow. I thought you loved me." He dramatically said as he fell to the ground.
"Oh Shush." I said.
He got back up and brushed himself.
I turned  forward and started walking towards Maka's house.
Kid POV
God he's such a cutie. I'm relived I got there on time.
I ran towards him as he started working and grabbed his hand. He jumped a bit but I smiled back and locked my fingers with him.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Since you're here Kid. I'm always okay." He said.
My heart melted.
Damn he's too cute.
