KID POV

I kept staring at Crona. I was worried about us. I began to think about it.

If we share souls what's going to happen to us. What if I get hurt and his soul also gets affected.

I look back at him and his eyes started to flutter open. He started groaning and yelling.
"Crona Are you ok?!" I asked him.
He looked at me and started to cry.

"Kid I'm so sorry. I had to protect you and you were about to die," Crona sobbed.
I looked at him. My heart started pounding. I grabbed him and hugged him.
"Crona it's ok. I would've done the same if it were you. Remember I love you Crona." I whispered into his ear.

I felt him grab my shoulders as the words I love you shivered in to his head.

CRONA POV

"... Remember I love you Crona." Kid whispered.
He loves me. After everything.
I sniffle and reply with,
"I love you too Death the Kid."
He takes my chin and looks straight at my eyes. I see him smiling. We put our foreheads together and smile. He closes his eyes and leans in. I close mine.
I can feel the warmth of his face as he comes closer.

"YAHOOO ITS THE ALMIGHTY BLACK STAR COMING TO THE RESCUE!!" Black st*r blurts out as he barged in.
I open my eyes and quickly push off Kid to the floor and hide under my covers.
"MAKA CHOP!" Maka yells out as she hits blackst*r.
"Can you be anymore louder Black St*r?" Soul mutters as he walks in.
"I'm so sorry Crona!" Tsbaki says as she enters and runs to Black St*r.
I look up from my covers and see Liz and Patty walking in laughing.

"What are you guys doing here?" I asked.
"We came to check on you both silly!" Maka replied.
I looked down and see Kid sprawled out on the floor unconscious.
"Kid! Are you ok?!"I yelled.
"What happened to him?" Soul asked.
Fudgecakes I'll have to make up an excuse
"H-He fell off his bed when Black St*ar barged in.." I stuttered.
"Ohh," Soul chuckled, "I'll pick him up and put him back in his bed."
"Stein said you'll be able to go back to class the day after tomorrow since he wants to take a look at you both." Liz said.
"O-oh ok thank you guys for coming to see us." I smiled.

We spent the evening playing cards and telling stories until it was dark.
"I guess we should get going so you can rest Crona!" Maka reminded the group.
They groaned but eventually cleaned up and left.
"Be safe!" Maka exclaimed as she closed the door.

After they left I got up and slowly crept towards to kid. He looked so peaceful while asleep. I leaned in and kissed his forehead.

"Thank you Kid.I love you." I smiled out.
