I am so sorry that I haven't updated this, but I've been caught up in so many other things. I know that I owe a long chapter, but I still haven't fully returned to my full motivational level that I should be on when it comes to writing.

Recently, I sort of just burnt out on my drawing and writing. I needed a break and sadly, the break has taken a lot longer than anticipated.  I thought that if I took a break, my motivation and inspiration would return fully. It has returned quite a bit, which is why I'm writing this, but not completely. I've been drawing a lot more though, which I'm quite proud of, but not like I used to. Bear with me please. If there are mistakes, I truly do apologize!

Wherever he was taking me was pretty damn far and it concerned me a bit. Okay, it concerned me a lot more than I was letting on. I mean, truth be told, I hardly knew the guy and here we were, in his car, on the way to god knows where. In all honesty, I could have rethought the whole 'dating him right away' thing, but hey, there wasn't any backing out of this. Well, there was, but I was not backing out of it after I pulled the shit I did earlier. I'd be foolish. Besides, I felt happy. Part of me did know him because part of me knew that we were once together in another life. That kept my worries down. I trusted him and he didn't seem like a bad guy, so there wasn't anything to be concerned about.

"So uh," I started, glancing over at the short male who had his eyes glued on the road, "Where are we going?"

"How many times are you going to ask me that?" He replied with a sigh, his eyes flickering over towards me for a second, before returning to the road, "I told you that you'll see when we get there." He mumbled, taking a turn down some unknown road. You know, I've lived here my entire life, and not once did I ever know that this part of town existed. It baffled me that Levi seemed to know as well. Perhaps he used to live here? Actually, that had to be the case. There was really no explanation other than that.

"As many times as it takes for you to answer me," I said cheekily, to which he huffed. I think a good portion of our relationship would be spent with me pissing him off or teasing him, which would probably end in the same result.

"Didn't you say you've lived here your whole life? How do you not know where I'm taking you?"

"I didn't really explore much as a child, believe it or not. My mom never let me go places...."

"Really? That's no fun. A kid should be able to explore and do whatever the hell they want. It's a part of being a child," He stated simply as he pulled onto a dirt road. I raised an eyebrow, but didn't say anything about it.

"My mom is protective over me. She just wants me to be safe," I shrugged.

"So in other words, if you get caught skipping like this, you're in trouble," He mused.

"Yeah, pretty much," I laughed a little. He smirked slightly. That couldn't be good.

"Anyways, we're here," He murmured, pulling over onto the side of the road next to a heavily wooded area, "Well, sort of. We have to walk to get to where I want to go," He got out of the car. I stared at him like he was crazy, but got out nonetheless. He didn't seem like the type of guy to be hanging out in the woods at any point, but Levi seemed to be full of surprises. Other than his dick-like attitude, he was completely different from the Levi in my dreams, and in a way, I really liked that.

"In the middle of the woods?" I asked as I walked over to him.

"No, you retard," He mumbled and started walking forward. I watched him for a second, before quickly catching up with him. We walked in silence for the longest time until we came across a secluded area in the woods. It was a clearing. It was surrounded by large trees and had this small little pond in the middle of it. It was honestly beautiful.

"Woah," I breathed out as I stepped forward and looked around, "I never knew about this place..." I murmured. Levi leaned against a tree and just watched me. I wasn't aware of his gaze until I looked over at him. He wasn't smiling, but there seemed to be some sort of peaceful look on his face. I couldn't quite put a finger on his face, but he was definitely relaxed.

"After my mother died, I ran away. Before my uncle found me, I found this place. Even after my uncle took me in, it became like a safe haven. I come here to clear my mind and such..." He shrugged and pushed himself off the tree. He walked towards me, then stopped a few feet in front of me, "I knew you would like this sort of thing, so I figured we could just... chill and talk..."

"Is this considered a date?" I asked, amazed by this place still.

"Kind of," He shrugged. A kind of date, huh? I liked it.
