Brightpaw was in the apprentices den after Cloudtails warrior ceremony. She was not mad at Cloudtail, It was not his fault that Bluestar made him a warrior and not her and the other aprentices. I just want to be a warrior, Brightpaw thought. She heard a rustle outside the den as Swiftpaw came in.
"Hey Swiftpaw." Brightpaw mewed solemnly.
"Brightpaw, I know how we can be warriors!"
"Really? How?"
" I'm going to go to snakerocks and kill whatever's living there."
"But Bluestar said all cats are forbidden to go there."
" That's why we go there and kill that thing and then Bluestar has to make us warriors!"
" Are any of the other apprentices going with you?"
"I already asked Fernpaw Ashpaw and they said no, But I'm still going even if I have to go alone" Brightpaw didn't want to go with Swiftpaw, she thought the idea was risky and dangerous, but she was also concerned about Swiftpaw, it was pointless trying to talk him out of it
"When do we leave?" Brightpaw asked.
"Tonight we sneak out through dirtplace." Swiftpaw meowed excitedly.
"I'll be there!"

The stars were shinning brightly as Swiftpaw walked to the dirtplace. He had told Brightpaw to wait a little bit after him so that they don't rouse suspicions. Swiftpaw emerged into the forest, and a few moments later Brightpaw emerged as well. They headed off towards Snakerocks passing the training hollow. The closer they got, It seemed like the stars got dimmer. Swiftpaw wondered if Starclan approved of this. To late to turn back now. Swiftpaw thought. As they neared snakerocks, their pace slowed.
"Are you sure u still want to do this?" Brightpaw asked nervously.
"Yes. I promise we will be warriors soon."
