Riker’s POV

“Just like old times” I smiled at Precious who was looking so cute with her morning hair complete with her PJ’s on. I played some chords and starts humming the tone I want on it.

“Now give me those lyrics,” she said grabbing them before I can stop her. I dropped the guitar beside me and tried getting the papers back. “I said you can see them when you finished your breakfast!” I yelled reaching for the papers making me lean closer to her.

“And that’s what I’m doing!” she answered back pushing me lightly then points at the empty bowl settled on the coffee table. Well, someone’s a fast eater. “But I didn’t gave you permission yet!” I argued back leaning in again to reach the paper from her hands.

“You’re the one who needs my help!” she snapped back at me glaring her eyes. I was about to answer back when someone came into the living room.

“Could you two keep it down?!” Ysabel annoyingly asked. She had her eyes squinted so I can tell that she really wants to go back to sleep. Precious and I exchanged looks and I sat straight up on the couch.

“We’re sorry Bey,” Precious apologized leading her sleepy sister inside her room. “Won’t happen again,” I added with the softest tone I can give. I heard her mumble something like, “Better be.”

Precious sat beside me and started on reading the lyrics I and Rocky drafted. “So? What’d you think?” I asked nervously tapping the guitar without realizing it. Her face looks so serious while reading it. Then I saw a smile on her lips and eyes.

“It’s awesome!” she exclaimed with her eyes sparkling. “Thanks,” I replied and felt myself blushing. Why am I blushing?!

Precious’s POV

“Thanks,” Riker said bowing his head. Wait?! Is he blushing?! “Riker?” I asked poking his side.

“Yeah?”

“Are you okay?” I added putting down the papers and grabbed the guitar next to him. “Uhm…Yeah. Yes. Thanks,” he answered grabbing his pen and shuffling the papers.

I smiled at his cuteness. It’s like nothing had changed. He’s still the silly teasing kid I met back in Colorado.

I shrugged off the thought of the past and went to find a great tune for the lyrics. I played some and tried singing some of the verse. I noticed Riker was bopping his head all throughout the time I was mumbling.

“It’s perfect!” he jumped startling me. “Josh is right! You are amazing at this!” he continued. Now he’s making me blush. And I don’t know if it’s because my boyfriend telling me that I’m amazing or this blonde guy telling me personally.

“Well, perfect lyrics deserve a perfect tune,” I winked at him gesturing him to sit down and finish the song with me. “You know, I always thought you’ll be a good musician someday when we were kids,” he said making some minor changes on the lyrics.

“I know,” I agreed laughing at my comment. He raised his eyebrows on me giving me a ‘you really are a full headed girl’ look. I just stuck my tongue out to him like I always do when he annoys me.

He laughed at my silliness and I joined him. “I can’t wait til the guys hear this song,” he said wiping the tears forming on his eye because of extensive laughing. “For the record,” I said leaning on him making his cheeks red, “I got dibs on the credits for this song,” I added bopping his nose.
