Fact of the Day: I LOVE food!

I giggled. I giggled until it shook through out my body. I stumbled as I tried to stand. My hysterical snickering unbalanced me.He's crazy! Completely insane!
After a few minutes of laughing, I was able to calm down. Wiping tears off of my cheeks I glared at Rivers. "Cut it out. I'm being serious. Now answer my question: What. Is. Going. On?"
"I'm sorry but-" Rivers was cut off by a crash.
I frowned. That sounded like metal against metal. I looked outside to the closest window to find the source. A car accident. A van has collided into a small car.
I can see a woman struggling to take her seatbelt off.
I turned back to Rivers, "Should we go-"
The woman screamed drawing my attention back to her. A man in a suit was attempting to get inside the van that the woman was in. Except he wasn't opening the door like a normal person would. He was just smashing his head on the glass. He didn't even add enough pressure to break the glass.
That's odd. Usually a robber would be smarter than that.
I quickly ran out the door to help but was grabbed by Rivers. He shook me until my head hurt. "You idiot! Don't you see it’s useless! It’s one of those things! Trust me, you can't go out there!"
"I don't believe you! She can be in trouble and you won't even help her!" I slid out of his grasp and ran to the man in the suit.
Eww. What is that smell! Some people just can't take care of themselves.
As I got closer the man’s scent got nastier by the second. I ripped him back and away from the screaming woman and shoved him to the ground. "Listen man, we don't get a lot of crime around here but now is not the time to start bugging people! Now beat it before I call the police!"
The only response I got was a soft growl. The man shakily stood up and locked eyes with mine. It was a weird foggy blue. He must be blind or something.
The suited man stepped towards me as if to intimidate but failed miserably. He wobbled on one of his ankles. It rolled and he fell once again.
Is he drunk? Drunk and blind? I don't think that’s a very good idea..
He grabbed my leg with as much strength as he can gather and yanked me down with him.
My head jerked back and hit the cement with a crack. I quickly sucked in a breath to replace the one that left me. Owww.
The man dragged himself on top of me as I tried to crawl away. I scratched at the cement to pull myself away but the weight of the man didn't let me go anywhere. I cursed. This reminded me of a few horror movies I've watched and I laughed. Of course, the dumb blonde gets dragged down as soon as she runs from safety. How ironic.
I felt the weight being lifted off my back and I tossed around to see Rivers kick the man in the stomach. I tried to stand but the pain on the back of my head throbbed. Ugh. What the hell is going on?
Rivers fought the man off but it was weird. The suited man kept trying to bite into Rivers arm or anything he can grab. Rivers seemed to notice quickly took aim.
"No!" This time I was able to push Rivers away before he could fire his gun. "What the hell are you doing! That man is just drunk or something! You have no right to shoot him!" We wrestled trying to get a hold of the gun. What is wrong with this guy! Just because he is in law enforcement doesn't mean he can aim and fire at anyone that bothers him!
"Get off of me! Hurry before he bites us! You need to let me take care of him!" Rivers screamed and kicked as the man bit into his leg. I moved out of the way as Rivers took aim and shot his gun.
Rivers sat up and lifted his pant leg up. The bite mark was clear as day. Blood seeped through and the skin around it slowly turned gray and green.
What is happening?
"Are you okay?" I asked. I felt guilty. This was my fault. He's now injured because I fought him, distracting him from the suited man.
"You stupid girl! You got me infected!" I stood back as he quickly unwrapped his belt.
"Hey, hey! What are you doing?" I blushed.
"Chill out, I'm trying to slow the bleeding!"
I watched as his skin around his neck turned grey. "Umm Rivers..? What's happening to your neck..?"
He stuttered and coughed up a bit of blood. "I'..I'm turning. Quickly! Shoot me before I hurt anyone!"
"What? You're crazy! I can't shoot you!" I watched as he tried to stand but only coughed up more blood. I felt sick. I can't stand the sight of so much blood. Rivers shuddered and fainted. "Rivers! Rivers get up!" I screamed and tried to shake him awake. He didn't move.

Death At Dusk
HorrorI stumbled upon another biter or as Kaden likes to call them: Zombie. I laughed. No way in hell am I calling them that. So biter kinda stuck to me. Either way, the biter/zombie was in pretty bad shape. A police officer, so it seems. His name tag on...
