"Good morning class today we have a new student why don't you stand up and tell us a little bit about yourself". the teacher said, Rain slowly stood up while other kids started to stare and some even laughed.
"Hi my name is Rain Cole and I don't have anything special to tell you about me " she said rubbing her arm shyly, the class started laughing hysterically and she slumped on her table and put her head down embarrassed. Why are they all laughing at me she wondered as a tear escaped through her closed eyes she felt a tap on her shoulder.
"Hey are you okay?" said a deep voice behind her, she lifted her head and turned rubbing the tears quickly away. He sat there waiting for a response and she nodded then went back to her same position, as she looked at the front of the class the teacher gave her a sympathetic look. She waited for the class to begin
