Arina

After dinner Axel walked me to my room, Taryn followed behind like a creep, keeping some distance for privacy.

"Did you enjoy dinner?," asked Axel.

"Yes," I stare into his eyes. I'd like to just get lost in them, I thought.

Axel looked back at Taryn, "I'm unwanted."

"No," I smile. We arrived at my room and Axel said goodnight, saying he had to go talk with his mother. That left me alone with Taryn, just the two of us and I had no where else to run.

"I thought he'd never leave," Taryn sighed. "We need to talk."

"Don't be rude." I opened my room doors and went straight to my bed, plopping down into softness, wrapping myself in warmth.

"Arina, we need to talk!"

I screamed into my pillow, "later."

Taryn sat down on the bed next to me, placing his hand on my back, it felt gentle and not rough. It was just like I expected.

"I will go talk to your father, but you will wait for me at the crossing."

I pounce up, "deal. Thank you, Taryn."

"Yeah, get some sleep we leave early."

He leaves me be, but I stay up for a few more mintues. Father must be furious, I'm surpirsed he hasn't lost his temper. I'm unsure what to do from here. I'm here, on land and in the castle. Axel is with me. But something doesn't feel right, like I thought I wou-. Huh, maybe this isn't what I really wanted.
