I stride into my room. Well, not exactly a room, more like a machine. But, it's my best friend, she's my best friend, the only one left. I tread around the console, the metallic smell swarming around me with every step I take. It's as if I can taste swarm of electrical current passing through the walls and all around me. I have had many memories, many faces here. I took my granddaughter here, when I was much younger, I had a different face then. I've had many faces, many lives, but none are as special as the one I'm living right now. I grab one of the odd levers in my hand, the metal feels cold, but that's what metal does. I pull it, before running around the console and pulling another. Within three seconds, we're off!! spiraling through the time and space vortex that I call home. I hear the sound that my dear TARDIS, oh dear, I forgot to turn the brakes off. But I like that sound, it always reminds me of home. River used to get mad at me about it, but she's gone, everyone is gone. I'm the last, the last one left. Last of the Timelords, the lonely god.
