It was a stormy night filled with thunder, lighting, and rain. A particular fellow named, Jack, sat the porch of his best friend's house. He knocked and rang the door bell but, no one came to the door.

He decided to try one more time before he just sat out there till his friend came out. He knocked once again.

No response.

He sat back down on the porch as he huffed but soon enough he heard the doorknob twist and the door open.

"Jack?!" The voice said. Jack looked behind him to find a young woman with platinum blonde hair and icey blue eyes staring at him, shocked

"Hey Elsa." He said all gloomy. She then turned her shocked face to a sincere face.

"Jack, come inside." Elsa said as she opened the door wider as Jack got up and walked into the house. Elsa closed the door.

"Is she going to be Ok?" Elsa said fiddling with her fingers as she leaned on the door.

Jack fell to his knees tears streaming down his face. Elsa rushed over to him.

"Jack what's going on?!" She said as she got on her knees and sat on her legs. She looked at him he looked so broken.

Jack then hugged her, tight like she was going to disappear any moment. She hugged him, rubbing his back as a sign to let him know she was there for him. She felt tear drops on her shoulder.

She pulled away and looked at Jack. She wiped away his tears. His eyes were red and puffy.

"Jack, can you tell me what's wrong?" Elsa said as she put her hands on his shoulders. He sighed.

"Its...Emma," he started as he felt his tears coming back

"S-she's...got 4 days to live." Jack said as his tears flowed out like a waterfall. Tears started to come to Elsa's eyes too. Emma was like another sister to her.

"W-what? She can't be they have the heart for her. Why didn't they do the surgery already?" Elsa asked as she took her hands off his shoulders and used them to cover her face.

"They...want me to pay...1,000 dollars for her surgery. But I don't have that kind of money." Jack said looking at the floor.

Elsa then pulled her hands away from her face and looked at Jack. She knew his happiness was slowly begining taken away from him.

"Jack, don't worry we'll find a way to get the money and I believe Emma's a strong girl, she has a lot of fight left in her." Elsa said looking at Jack.

"You're right tomorrow I'll go looking for a job or some jobs." Jack said looking at the girl who always has faith.

Elsa smiled at him and she hugged him. He hugged her back with all his might. They stayed like that for a few minutes.

Until, Elsa pulled away and stood up. Jack did the same.

"Well, Jack your welcome to anything in the house because I'm going to bed. The guest bedroom is down the hall to the left. Goodnight Jack." Elsa said as she walked away to her room.

"Elsa?" Jack said before she went in her room.

"Yeah?" She said as she turned around.

"Thank you for everything. I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have you here." Jack said while smiling as Elsa blushed.

"Your welcome." She said in a shy voice as she went in her room and closed the door.

Jack went to the guest room awaiting for him.
